FTMO Alternatives

Traders look beyond FTMO because its fees are charged in euros, at €540 for a $100K 2 Step and €499 for a $100K 1 Step at list price in September 2026, and because the 2 Step split starts at 80% until a trader qualifies for the Scaling Plan. Funded Standard accounts cannot open or close trades two minutes either side of selected news and must be flat before the weekend, unless the trader picks the lower leverage Swing account on the 2 Step. The first reward cannot be requested until the 14th day after the first trade.

Each alternative sells CFD challenges and differs from FTMO on at least one of those points. Prices are list prices at the time of review, and every firm runs frequent discounts.

The5ers

The5ers prices in dollars, with High Stakes at $405 (New) or $455 (Classic) for $100K. It allows weekend holding on every programme, and its scaling plan lifts the split through 85% and 90% to 100% as the account grows towards $500,000. The trade offs are an 8% maximum loss and 4% daily limit on $100K, a bar on order execution two minutes either side of high impact news, and a 3.5% payout commission unless the trader takes hub credits. Platforms are MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradingView, with leverage of 1:100 on High Stakes. It suits swing traders who hold over weekends. See FTMO vs The5ers.

FundedNext

FundedNext matches FTMO’s 10% static limit and 5% daily limit on its Stellar 2 Step at $549.99, with a lower 8% first phase target and weekend holding on funded accounts. It promises to process rewards within 24 hours or add $1,000, excluding bank transfers and manual reviews. On funded accounts, only 40% of profit from trades placed within five minutes of listed high impact news counts, and open risk is capped at 3%. The first reward on the standard option comes after 21 days, and expert advisors are allowed only below $50,000. It suits manual traders who hold positions for days. See FTMO vs FundedNext.

Funding Pips

Funding Pips lets traders choose the payout cycle at purchase: on its 2 Step Standard, weekly at 60%, fortnightly at 80%, on demand at 90% or monthly at 100%. The Standard matches FTMO’s 10% static and 5% daily limits at $652 for $100K, and the 2 Step Pro costs $466 with 6% limits. Funded positions close automatically each day unless the trader buys the Swing add on, and the 2 Step Standard fee is refunded only with the fourth reward. Match Trader is available to US and Canadian residents. It suits intraday traders who want control over payout timing.

FXIFY

FXIFY allows the first payout as soon as the first funded trade closes in profit on its phase plans, and it permits expert advisors on those plans. The Two Phase Classic costs $549 for $100K with a 10% static limit, while the Two Phase Standard at the same price uses a trailing limit. Platforms are MetaTrader 5, DXtrade and TradingView. It suits traders who want an early first payout or use DXtrade. See FXIFY vs FundedNext.

Alpha Capital

Alpha Capital sells Alpha Pro with a choice of 6%, 8% or 10% static limits, from $397 to $527 for $100K, and offers on demand payouts once profit reaches 2% and the best day is no more than 40% of the total. Qualified Alpha Pro accounts cannot hold over weekends, but Alpha Swing, at $577 for $100K, can. Payouts are paid within two business days by Rise, Wise or bank transfer. Platforms include MetaTrader 5, cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker. Trustpilot shows no rating for the firm. It suits traders who want on demand payouts on TradeLocker or DXtrade.

BrightFunded

BrightFunded has no consistency rule, allows weekend holding and permits expert advisors. Its 2 Step Classic costs €497 for $100K with 10% static and 5% daily limits. The first payout comes 30 days after the first funded trade, then every 14 days, processed within one day with no minimum. Each qualifying four month review adds 30% to the balance, and scaling raises the split to 90% at the first step and 100% from the third. Trustpilot shows no rating for the firm. It suits patient traders who plan to scale.

E8 Markets

E8 Markets sells one step challenges only. E8 One costs $488 for $100K on its default setup, with a 9% target, a 4% daily limit and a 6% limit that locks at the starting balance, and payouts are on demand from three days into the funded stage. The firm reports a median of 24 hours from request to funds arriving for January to May 2026. Weekend holding is allowed on E8 One and E8 Pro, and traders can configure drawdown and payout share at checkout. Trustpilot shows no rating for the firm. It suits one step traders who want early payouts. See FTMO vs E8 Markets.

How to choose

Start with the rule that pushes you away from FTMO. Weekend holders should look first at The5ers, FundedNext and BrightFunded. Traders who want early payouts should look at FXIFY, E8 Markets and Alpha Capital. Traders who want FTMO’s 10% static floor with pricing in dollars should compare the FundedNext Stellar 2 Step, FXIFY Two Phase Classic, Alpha Pro 10% and Funding Pips 2 Step Standard. The trailing vs static drawdown guide explains why the loss limit type matters.
