E8 Markets rules in full
  • Position Size Limits: You may open up to 50 lots per order on FX and indices, while XAUUSD is capped at 20 lots per order.
  • Independent Evaluations: Every evaluation account must be traded on its own. Progress on one account cannot be carried over or linked to another.
  • Order & Modification Limits: Traders can maintain a maximum of 100 active orders at once and perform up to 2000 order actions (modifications, entries, exits) per day.
  • Risk Management Policy: Placing your entire balance at risk in a single trade is prohibited. Accounts showing reckless or “all-in” trading may be terminated, with fees refunded.
  • Hedging Restrictions: Hedging positions across separate accounts - even if both accounts belong to the same trader - is not allowed.
  • Trade Copying: During evaluations, you cannot mirror trades between accounts, whether manually or through an EA. Funded and evaluation accounts must remain independent.
  • Trade Duration: At least half of your trades must be held longer than one minute. Ultra-short-term tick scalping is restricted.
  • Exposure Control: If a trader attempts to risk more than 2% of balance per trade idea or setup, E8 reserves the right to adjust or restrict the account for compliance.
  • Copy Trading Policy: Permitted: Copying trades between your own accounts - personal, funded, or evaluation - is allowed. Not permitted: Copying or running identical strategies across multiple evaluation accounts.
  • Expert Advisors (EAs): You may use EAs, provided they are not shared by multiple users running identical strategies. Third-party EAs are acceptable, but each trader must run their own unique system.
  • News Trading: Evaluations: Trading through high-impact news is permitted. Funded Accounts: No order activity (open/close/modify) is allowed 5 minutes before or after scheduled high-impact news. Profits from trades executed in this window may be voided.
  • Signature Program Rule: For E8 Signature accounts, overnight and weekend holding is prohibited.
  • Inactivity: Accounts left unused for 60 consecutive days will be closed, with no refund entitlement.

E8 Markets review

Rules and prices checked on 29 September 2026 against E8 Markets’s own website and terms.

E8 Markets is a US prop firm with offices in Dallas, Texas, founded in 2021 under the E8 Funding name. Its Classic Markets range covers forex, indices, metals, energies and crypto, while its futures and perpetual futures programs are reviewed separately. All three current products are one step challenges with no time limit and no activation fee. E8 One is the most configurable: on the default $100,000 setup it asks for a 9% target with a 4% daily drawdown and a 6% dynamic drawdown that locks at the starting balance, and list prices run from $48 for $5,000 to $1,998 for $500,000. E8 Pro uses a static drawdown, a 2.5% daily limit and a 2% daily profit cap, with daily payouts and no consistency rule or payout cap, priced from $28 to $2,469. E8 Signature is the cheapest large account, at $280 for $100,000, with a 6% target, a 3% end of day dynamic drawdown and a 2% daily pause once funded. The default payout share is 80%. Trading runs on MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradeLocker and Match Trader, and clients in the United States can use TradeLocker and Match Trader.

Suits

Traders who want to configure drawdown and payout share at checkout, or take daily payouts on a static drawdown with E8 Pro.

Less suited to

Avoid E8 Markets if you cannot complete checks with WorkMarket or Rise, or if you need to hold positions overnight on a low cost E8 Signature account.

Pros

  • E8 Pro offers daily payouts with no consistency rule and no payout cap.
  • Median payout times were 11 hours to approval and 24 hours to funds between January and May 2026.
  • No product has an activation fee or a time limit.
  • E8 One can be configured at checkout, with account sizes up to $500,000.
  • Traders in the United States are accepted on TradeLocker and Match Trader.

Cons

  • Trustpilot shows no rating for E8 Markets because of a breach of its guidelines.
  • E8 Pro counts at most 2% of the starting balance toward profit each day.
  • E8 Signature closes all positions at 23:00 server time and applies a 35% best day rule.
  • E8 One bans trading within five minutes of high impact news on the funded account.
  • Payouts depend on passing checks with WorkMarket or Rise, with no direct crypto option.

Verdict

E8 Markets appeals to traders who want to shape the account around their style. E8 One lets buyers adjust the drawdown and payout share at checkout, E8 Pro offers daily payouts with no consistency rule and no cap, and E8 Signature offers a $100,000 account for $280. Payout processing is quick on the firm's own figures, with a median of 11 hours to approval and 24 hours to funds arriving between January and May 2026, and E8 charges no payout fee of its own. The rules differ enough between products to reward careful reading. E8 One bans opening or closing trades from five minutes before to five minutes after high impact news on the funded account and applies a 40% best day rule. E8 Pro counts no more than 2% of the starting balance toward profit on any single day, which slows progress for traders who make large gains in one session. E8 Signature closes every position at 23:00 server time, applies a 35% best day rule and requires a buffer equal to the drawdown before payouts. Payouts run only through WorkMarket, Rise or, for US clients, Aeropay, so traders who cannot pass their checks cannot be paid. Trustpilot currently shows no rating for E8 Markets because of a breach of its guidelines, alongside about 3,300 reviews. E8 suits rule aware traders who value flexible configuration and fast payouts.

Payouts

Signature program
A 35% Best Day rule applies, meaning no single trading day may be responsible for more than 35% of total profits. At least 5 profitable trading days are required between payout cycles, each with a minimum of 0.3% closed PnL. A buffer equal to the EOD Trailing Drawdown must remain in the account and cannot be withdrawn. Payout caps are as follows: the 1st and 2nd payouts are limited to 2.5% each, the 3rd payout is capped at 4.5%, and the 4th at 5.5%. From the 5th payout onward, the maximum is capped at $25,000 per account. Minimum payout amounts are Rise – $312.50 and Plane – $62.50.

Other programs (E8 One, Classic, Track, etc.)
A 40% Best Day rule applies, meaning no single trading day may exceed 40% of total profits. To qualify for withdrawal, your net profit share must exceed 50% of the daily drawdown. Removing all profits, thereby withdrawing the buffer, will result in account termination.

E8 One
Withdrawals can be requested once profits exceed the Trailing Drawdown. However, sufficient funds must remain as a buffer, and withdrawing all profits will result in account closure.

Questions about E8 Markets

Is E8 Markets legit?

E8 Markets is a US company with offices in Dallas, Texas, founded in 2021 as E8 Funding, and it reports more than 300,000 registered clients. It describes itself as a simulated trading platform rather than a broker. Trustpilot lists about 3,300 reviews but currently shows no rating, citing a breach of its guidelines and the removal of fake reviews.

How much does an E8 Markets challenge cost?

On the default settings, list prices for a $100,000 account are $488 for E8 One, $468 for E8 Pro and $280 for E8 Signature. The smallest accounts cost $48 and $28 for $5,000 on E8 One and E8 Pro, and $120 for $25,000 on E8 Signature. Changing the drawdown or payout share on E8 One and E8 Pro changes the price.

What is the difference between E8 One, E8 Pro and E8 Signature?

E8 One is the most configurable, with a dynamic drawdown and a 40% best day rule on payouts. E8 Pro uses a static drawdown, a 2.5% daily limit and a 2% daily profit cap, and pays daily with no consistency rule. E8 Signature is the cheapest, with a 6% target, a 3% end of day drawdown, a 2% daily pause and positions closed each night.

How fast does E8 Markets pay out?

E8 reports median times of 11 hours from request to approval and 24 hours to funds arriving for January to May 2026, though the process can take up to five business days. Payouts are sent through WorkMarket, Rise or, for US clients, Aeropay. The minimum request is $100, and E8 One and E8 Signature payouts are possible from three days into the funded stage.

Does E8 Markets allow news trading?

E8 Pro and E8 Signature allow news trading at every stage. E8 One allows it during the challenge, but on the funded account traders may not open or close trades, including stop loss and take profit fills, from five minutes before to five minutes after a high impact release. Profits made in that window may be removed.

Can traders in the United States use E8 Markets?

Yes. E8 Markets is based in the United States and accepts US clients, who can trade on TradeLocker and Match Trader but not on MetaTrader 5 or cTrader. US clients also have access to Aeropay for direct bank payouts. The firm restricts a list of other countries, including Russia, Iran, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
