Orion Funded rules in full
Max DD Type
Static for Orion Standard (6%), Orion Swing (8%) and Orion Select (5%), fixed from the initial balance. Trailing lock for Orion Zero (6%) and Orion Nova (8% in evaluation, 5% funded): the floor follows the balance upward and locks at the funded starting balance once the first payout is approved.
Daily DD Type
3% on Zero and Standard, 5% on Swing and Select, 4% in the Nova evaluation and 3% on funded Nova. Measured from the greater of the previous day's closing balance or closing equity, resets at midnight UTC, and counts floating losses, swaps and commissions.
News Trading
No timing restrictions during any evaluation, but news trading used as a strategy is prohibited on all programs. Funded Nova, Standard and Select accounts may not open, close or modify trades from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after a high impact event. Funded Swing accounts have no restriction. Orion Zero allows it, but trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of a high impact event are rewarded at 50% instead of 80%.
EAs/Copy
EAs are permitted only for risk and trade management (stop loss, take profit, break even, trailing stops, partial closes, position sizing, drawdown protection). Third party EAs, signal generating or autonomous bots, HFT, tick scalping and automated copy trading are prohibited, and automation above 2,000 server requests a day is not allowed. Copy trading is allowed only between accounts owned by the same person; external copy services are prohibited.
Holding Restrictions
Overnight and weekend holding allowed on every program in evaluation and funded stages. Opening trades specifically to capture price gaps is prohibited.
Consistency Rule
Best Day Rule of 20% on Orion Zero and on funded Orion Nova accounts: the best single day may not exceed 20% of total profit in the reward cycle before a reward can be requested. No Best Day Rule on Standard, Swing, Select or the Nova evaluation.
Minimum Trading Days
4 trading days in each evaluation for Standard, Swing and Select; none for Zero and Nova; none on any funded account

Scaling Plan
Available on all funded programs. Qualifying requires a 15% return over a rolling three month period, at least two of three months positive and at least three reward requests. Each qualifying cycle adds 25% to the account balance and moves the split to 90%, up to a maximum allocation of $4,000,000.
Orion Funded review
Orion Funded is a simulated trading evaluation firm run by Orion Global FZCO in Dubai, which says it has operated since 2023 and served more than 150,000 clients. Traders use MetaTrader 5 or Match Trader to trade forex, indices, metals, commodities, stocks and cryptocurrencies. There are four program families. Orion Zero is an instant funding account from $5,000 to $100,000 with a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% trailing drawdown. Orion Nova is a one step evaluation with a 4% target that costs $7 to start, with the activation fee due only after the trader passes. Orion Standard is a two step challenge with a 6% target in each phase, a 3% daily limit and a 6% static drawdown, and its Swing version uses targets of 8% and 5%, a 5% daily limit and an 8% static drawdown. Orion Select is a three step evaluation with 5% targets, a 5% daily limit and a 5% static drawdown. Standard, Swing and Select need four trading days in evaluation, and no program has a time limit. Funded accounts pay an 80% reward split every 14 days through Rise Pay, rising to 90% under the scaling plan, and the program fee is refunded on the fourth successful reward.

Select is the cheapest Orion route to a large account, with a $100,000 three step evaluation listed at $409, although three phases under a 5% static drawdown leave little room for error over a longer path. Standard suits intraday traders who can work within a 3% daily limit, while Swing accepts lower leverage in exchange for wider limits and no news restriction once funded. Nova cuts the upfront outlay to $7, but the funded account tightens to a 3% daily limit and a 5% trailing drawdown, and a 20% Best Day Rule must be met before each reward request. Zero is the most expensive option for each dollar of capital and carries the same Best Day Rule, a 3% profit buffer and a reduced 50% split on trades close to high impact news. Is Orion Funded legit?
Orion Funded is operated by Orion Global FZCO, a company registered in Dubai, and says it has served more than 150,000 clients since 2023. All accounts are demo accounts with simulated capital, and rewards are paid in real money through Rise Pay. Its Trustpilot page showed a 4.5 rating from 2,044 reviews in September 2026. What is the Orion Funded profit split?
