Funding Pips rules in full
- 3% Rule: No single loss can exceed 3% of your account size, and splitting a trade into multiple positions counts as a single trade. This applies only to the 1 Step, 2 Step, and 2 Step Pro Models.
- Copy Trading: You can copy trades between your own FundingPips accounts, and externally your account may act only as a master for a slave account. Through Prop Firm One (PF1), traders can copy trades across multiple proprietary firm accounts on a single platform, increasing flexibility and efficiency without violating FundingPips’ rules.
- News Trading: For 1 Step, 2 Step, and 2 Step Pro accounts, news trading is allowed during the evaluation phase. On funded accounts, profits from trades opened less than five hours before or closed five minutes before or after high-impact news will not count, except for traders on the On Demand reward cycle who can trade news without restrictions. FundingPips Zero accounts do not allow news trading.
- Weekend Trades: 1 Step, 2 Step, and 2 Step Pro accounts may hold trades over the weekend, but FundingPips Zero accounts may not.
- Capital Allocation Limit: Standard account sizes are $25,000, $50,000, or $100,000, and multiple accounts can be merged or scaled up to a combined maximum of $300,000.
- Expert Advisor (EA): EAs are permitted only if they function as trade or risk managers. Using any other third-party EA is not allowed.
- Inactivity Rule: You must open and close at least one trade within 30 consecutive days to avoid a rule violation.
- Minimum Profitable Days: FundingPips Zero accounts must achieve at least seven profitable days within each 30-day period, or a rule violation will occur.
- Forbidden Strategies: Gap trading, server spamming, latency arbitrage, hedging, long-short arbitrage, reverse arbitrage, server execution manipulation, and opposite account trading are strictly prohibited.

Funding Pips review
Funding Pips is a prop firm operated by FundingPips Corp, with addresses in Dubai and the Comoros, and it offers five CFD models on MetaTrader 5, cTrader and Match Trader. The 2 Step Standard asks for 8% and then 5%, with a daily loss limit of 3% or 5% chosen at purchase and a 10% static maximum loss. The 2 Step Pro lowers both targets to 6%, with a 3% daily limit, a 6% maximum loss and no minimum trading days. The 2 Step Flex asks for 10% and 8% with a 4% daily limit and a 12% maximum loss. The 1 Step Flex has a single 12% target, a 12% static maximum loss and no consistency rule or minimum days. Zero skips the evaluation, with a 3% daily limit, a 5% trailing maximum loss and a 95% fortnightly split. List prices range from $33 for a $5,000 2 Step Pro to $919 for a $200,000 2 Step Pro, with a $100,000 2 Step Standard at $652. Reward cycles are chosen at purchase and range from weekly at 60% to monthly at 100%. There is no time limit, and forex leverage is 1:100 on every model except Zero, which uses 1:50.
Suits
Intraday forex traders who close positions each day and want to choose between weekly, fortnightly and monthly reward cycles.
Less suited to
Avoid Funding Pips if you hold funded positions overnight and do not want to pay for the Swing add on.
Pros
- Reward cycles range from weekly to monthly, with a 100% split on the monthly option.
- The 2 Step Pro has low 6% targets and no minimum trading days.
- The Flex models allow a 12% static maximum loss.
- The 1 Step Flex has no consistency rule and can be passed in one day.
- Rewards are processed within one to three working days.
Cons
- Master accounts close positions each day unless the Swing add on is bought.
- Profits from trades near restricted high impact news may be deducted on funded accounts.
- The registration fee is refunded only on the 2 Step Standard, at the fourth reward.
- Zero bans news trading and weekend holding and applies a 15% consistency score.
- Clients in the United States cannot use MetaTrader 5.
Verdict
Funding Pips gives traders an unusual amount of choice over how they are paid. On the 2 Step Standard, the same account can be bought with a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or on demand reward cycle, paying from 60% to 100%, and the Pro and Flex models offer their own mix. The 2 Step Pro is the cheapest route to a large account, at $466 for $100,000, with low 6% targets and no minimum days, although its 6% maximum loss leaves little room. The Flex models suit traders who want more drawdown, with a 12% static maximum loss. The biggest limitation is on the funded stage. Master accounts on every model except Zero close open positions automatically each day unless the trader buys a Swing add on, so strategies that hold overnight carry that extra cost. Profits from trades opened or closed within five minutes of restricted high impact news may be deducted, unless the trade was opened at least five hours earlier. Zero bans news trading and weekend holding outright and applies a 15% consistency score. The registration fee is refunded only on the 2 Step Standard, and only at the fourth reward. Rewards are processed within one to three working days. Trustpilot shows a rating of 4.5 from more than 69,000 reviews. Funding Pips suits intraday traders who want to pick their payout rhythm and do not need to hold positions overnight.

Questions about Funding Pips
Is Funding Pips legit?
Funding Pips is operated by FundingPips Corp, which lists addresses at IFZA Business Park in Dubai and in Fomboni in the Comoros. The firm reports more than 3 million traders and pays rewards by card, crypto, Rise and bank transfer. Trustpilot shows a rating of 4.5 from more than 69,000 reviews.
How much does a Funding Pips challenge cost?
For a $100,000 account, list prices are $652 on the 2 Step Standard, $555 on the 2 Step Flex, $466 on the 2 Step Pro, $666 on the 1 Step Flex and $444 on Zero. The smallest $5,000 accounts start at $33 on the 2 Step Pro and $44 on the 2 Step Standard. Swap free accounts cost 10% more, and cTrader adds $20.
Which Funding Pips model has the most drawdown?
The 2 Step Flex and 1 Step Flex both allow a 12% static maximum loss. The 2 Step Flex pairs it with a 4% daily limit and targets of 10% and 8%, while the 1 Step Flex asks for a single 12% target with a daily limit of 2% or 3%. The 2 Step Standard allows 10%, the 2 Step Pro 6% and Zero a 5% trailing limit.
How do Funding Pips payouts work?
The reward cycle is chosen at purchase, from weekly to monthly depending on the model. Requests are processed within one to three working days, and funds usually arrive one to two working days later. Rewards can go to a card, a USDT or USDC wallet, Rise or a bank account, with a minimum of 1% of the account size and $500 for Rise or bank transfer.
Can you hold trades overnight with Funding Pips?
Overnight and weekend holding is allowed during every evaluation. On funded Master accounts for the 1 Step Flex and all 2 Step models, the system closes open positions each day unless the trader has bought the Swing add on. Positions closed this way do not breach the account. Zero prohibits weekend holding and news trading on all instruments.
Does Funding Pips refund the challenge fee?
Only the 2 Step Standard includes a refund. When a trader receives the fourth reward on a 2 Step Standard Master account, the original registration fee is returned. The 1 Step Flex, 2 Step Pro, 2 Step Flex and Zero models do not refund the fee at any stage.
