Funding Pips Alternatives
Seven CFD prop firms that differ from Funding Pips on overnight holding, fee refunds, profit split or payout timing.
Traders look beyond Funding Pips mainly because open positions on its 2 Step and 1 Step Flex funded accounts are closed automatically at the end of each day unless the trader buys the Swing add on. The split depends on the payout cycle chosen at purchase, from 60% on weekly payouts to 100% on monthly payouts on the 2 Step Standard, and that model’s fee is refunded only with the fourth reward. The 2 Step Standard lists at $652 for $100K, and on funded accounts profit from trades within five minutes of restricted news may be deducted.
Each alternative sells CFD challenges and differs from Funding Pips on at least one of those points. Prices are list prices at the time of review in September 2026, and every firm runs frequent discounts.

FTMO
FTMO refunds its 2 Step fee with the first reward, and its funded Standard accounts only need to be flat before the weekend and before market breaks longer than two hours. They cannot trade affected instruments two minutes either side of selected news, while the Swing account on the 2 Step removes both rules at leverage of up to 1:30. The 2 Step costs €540 for $100K, with 10% static and 5% daily limits, and the 1 Step pays 90% from the first reward. TradingView is among its platforms. It suits traders who want a firm operating since 2015 and an early fee refund.
FundedNext
FundedNext matches the Funding Pips 2 Step Standard on targets and limits, at 8% and 5% with a 10% static maximum loss, for $549.99 instead of $652. It allows overnight and weekend holding on funded accounts, refunds the fee with the first reward and promises to process rewards within 24 hours or add $1,000. The trade offs are a 21 day wait for the first reward on the standard option, a 40% profit share on trades near high impact news and expert advisors only below $50,000. It suits manual swing traders. See FundedNext vs Funding Pips.
The5ers
The5ers allows overnight and weekend holding on every programme and asks for the same 8% and 5% targets on High Stakes Classic, at $455 for $100K. Alpha Capital
Alpha Capital does not link the split to a payout cycle. Most of its accounts pay 80% on demand once profit reaches 2% and the best day is no more than 40% of the total, a paid add on lifts Alpha One and on demand Alpha Pro to 90%, and payouts arrive within two business days. Traders who hold positions can choose Alpha Swing, at $577 for $100K with 10% static and 5% daily limits and weekend holding allowed, while qualified Alpha Pro accounts cannot hold over weekends. Evaluation fees are not refunded. Platforms include MetaTrader 5, cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker, and Trustpilot shows no rating for the firm. It suits traders who want on demand payouts without choosing a cycle.
BrightFunded
BrightFunded allows overnight and weekend holding, has no consistency rule and permits expert advisors. The 2 Step Classic costs €497 for $100K with 10% static and 5% daily limits. The first payout comes 30 days after the first funded trade, then every 14 days, or every 7 days with an add on, processed within one day with no BrightFunded fee. The split rises to 90% at the first scale up and 100% from the third. Trustpilot shows no rating for the firm. It suits traders who hold positions and plan to scale.
E8 Markets

Match Trader and TradeLocker are offered alongside MetaTrader 5 and cTrader. Trustpilot shows no rating for the firm. It suits one step traders who hold positions or trade news.
How to choose
If the daily close is the problem, FundedNext, The5ers, BrightFunded, the FXIFY phase plans and E8 One and E8 Pro all allow overnight holding on funded accounts without an add on. If the fee refund matters, FTMO and FundedNext return the two step fee with the first reward. If you value Funding Pips’ choice of payout cycle, FXIFY’s Two Phase Classic and BrightFunded’s payout add ons are the closest matches. The trailing vs static drawdown guide explains how the loss limits in the table differ.
