How We Review Prop Firms

Select Prop Firms compares prop trading firms on their rules, prices and payouts. Every profile and review follows the same process, whether or not the firm has a commercial relationship with the site.

Where firm data comes from

Each firm’s rules, drawdown limits, profit split, payout policy, programs and list prices are taken from the firm’s own website, help centre and terms. Each item is recorded with the source it came from. Other review and comparison sites are not used as sources. If a rule or price cannot be confirmed from the firm’s own material, it is left out rather than estimated.

Dates on reviews

Every written review states the date on which the firm’s rules and prices were checked. Prop firms change their programs, prices and rules often, so the date shows how current the information is. Before buying a challenge, confirm the terms on the firm’s own site.

Ratings

The ratings shown on firm profiles are Trustpilot scores. Where Trustpilot shows no rating for a firm, including where it has withheld one for a breach of its guidelines, the profile shows no rating either.

What a review covers

Each review explains how the firm’s programs work and sets out who the firm suits and who it does not, with the pros and cons of its rules, pricing and payout terms.

Commercial relationships

Some firms pay Select Prop Firms a commission when a reader buys a challenge through a link on the site, and some firms feature offers such as discount codes. Ownership

Select Prop Firms shares owners with QT Funded, QT Futures and Titan Capital. The profiles and reviews of those firms say so, and those firms are reviewed under the same process as every other firm on the site: the same sources, the same dated checks and the same Trustpilot ratings.
