Velocity: intraday trailing (end of day available as a paid add on). Prime: end of day trailing. Premier+: trader chooses end of day or intraday in the evaluation; funded accounts use end of day trailing (funded drawdown on the EOD option is larger than in the evaluation, e.g. $2,000 vs $1,500 on 50K). Straight to Funded: end of day. S2F Accelerate: intraday trailing with no ceiling. On Premier+, the drawdown moves to the base account size after the first payout.
No daily loss limit on evaluation or simulated funded accounts. Live accounts have a daily loss limit ($1,000 on 50K and 100K, $1,250 on 150K).
Allowed through all news events including tier 1 releases (FOMC, CPI, employment); no flattening requirement.
Bot and algorithmic trading are not permitted. VPNs and VPS services are permitted. One user profile per person; account per household limits apply.
Positions must be closed by 4:45 pm ET and are closed automatically at that time; trading reopens at 6:00 pm ET. The homepage lists weekend holding as allowed on Velocity (see gaps).
Velocity: 40% for the life of the account (removed with the daily payout add on). Prime: none in the evaluation, 40% per payout cycle on funded accounts. Premier+: none in the evaluation with Fast Pass (pricing page shows 50% on the Standard pass option); 40% on funded accounts bought on or after 9 September 2026. Straight to Funded: 25%. S2F Accelerate: 25% lifetime.
Prime: 1 day to pass. Premier+: 1 day with Fast Pass, 2 days Standard. Velocity: 3 days. Funded accounts must be activated within 7 days of passing.
No time limit; evaluations are monthly subscriptions that renew until passed or cancelled.
Not applicable; position size is set by contract limits (e.g. 5 minis or 50 micros on a 50K Velocity account).
No activation fee on any plan. Evaluation reset fees are about the monthly price less $1 (e.g. Velocity 50K reset $124; Prime 50K reset $178 Standard or $203 Max; Premier+ EOD 50K reset $158 Standard or $193 Fast Pass). Unlimited evaluation resets; up to three funded resets (not on S2F). Velocity add ons: daily payout $29 to $69, end of day drawdown $30 to $110 depending on size. Prime Max position and Premier+ Fast Pass options cost more than the Standard option. Live stage traders must subscribe to market data themselves. Payout provider fees set by Rise.
Funded accounts use a scaling plan that sets contract limits by simulated profit, updated at the end of each session (e.g. Prime 50K starts at 3 minis and reaches 5 minis at $2,000 profit). Traders who reach $5,000 in approved Professional Stage payouts, or receive a first payout with sustained consistency, can be reviewed for a live account on Rithmic (50K, 100K or 150K, starting at 1 mini or 10 micros).
Funded Futures Family is a futures prop firm headquartered in Temecula, California, and founded in 2024. It sells monthly evaluation subscriptions across three plans, plus one time Straight to Funded accounts that skip the evaluation. Velocity uses an intraday trailing drawdown, needs at least three trading days to pass and applies a 40% consistency rule for the life of the account. Prime uses an end of day drawdown, can be passed in one day and has no consistency rule during the evaluation. Premier+ lets traders pick end of day or intraday drawdown, with a Fast Pass option that allows a one day pass. Account sizes run from $25,000 to $150,000, and list prices start at $79 a month for a 25K Velocity account. The firm lists no daily loss limit on its simulated accounts and charges no activation fee on any plan. Funded accounts pay a 90/10 split, with payouts every three to seven trading days depending on the plan and a minimum of $200 profit on each counted day. Payouts are approved at the end of each day and paid through Rise by bank transfer or crypto. Trading runs on Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView and WealthCharts, and consistent traders can be moved to a live account on Rithmic.
Futures day traders who can pass an evaluation quickly and then string together regular days of $200 or more in profit.
You trade with bots or automated strategies, which the firm does not permit, or you live in one of its 40 restricted countries.
Funded Futures Family offers a wide choice of plans, and the main trade off sits between how quickly a plan can be passed and how hard it is to get paid. Prime and Premier+ can be passed in a day with no evaluation consistency rule, which suits traders with a clear edge who want to move quickly. The payout side is tighter. Prime needs three trading days of at least $200 profit, a 40% consistency cap per payout cycle and a buffer equal to the drawdown plus $100, and the first withdrawal is capped at $1,000 to $3,500. Premier+ caps each payout at half of profit, and accounts bought from 9 September 2026 carry a 40% funded consistency rule.
Velocity needs the closest reading. It has the lowest list price, but it asks for $3,000 of new profit on a 50K account before each request while capping each withdrawal at $1,250, so profit builds up in the account faster than it can be taken out.
Evaluations are a monthly subscription rather than a one time fee, so a slow pass becomes more expensive each month. On the other hand, there is no activation fee, evaluation resets are unlimited and funded accounts can be reset up to three times. The 90/10 split and end of day payout approval through Rise are clear strengths.
The firm suits active futures day traders who can pass quickly and then produce regular modest winning days. It is a poorer fit for traders who rely on automated strategies, which are banned, and it is closed to residents of 40 restricted countries.
90/10 on all funded plans
No fixed minimum stated; each cycle requires new profit since the last payout (Prime: $300 to $1,000; Velocity: $1,500 to $9,000; S2F: $1,500 to $9,000 first payout, $1,000 to $4,500 after) and days of at least $200 profit
Prime: every 3 trading days. Premier+: every 5 trading days. Velocity: every 3 trading days, or once a day with the daily payout add on. Straight to Funded: every 7 trading days. S2F Accelerate: every 5 trading days. Payouts are approved at end of day.
Prime: after 3 days of $200 or more profit, above a buffer of drawdown plus $100 (e.g. $52,100 on 50K); first payout capped at $1,000 to $3,500. Premier+: 50% of profit up to $1,000 to $3,000. Velocity: capped at $750 to $3,250 ($600 to $2,500 with daily payouts). S2F: capped at $1,000 to $3,000.
Rise (bank transfer or wire, 1 to 3 business days), Rise (crypto, same day to 24 hours)
Funded Futures Family is incorporated in California, headquartered in Temecula and was founded in 2024. It publishes its rules in a public help centre and lists a support phone line and email address. In September 2026 it held a Trustpilot score of 4.6 from 3,604 reviews. Accounts are simulated, but approved payouts are paid in real money through Rise by bank transfer or crypto.
All funded plans pay a 90/10 split, so the trader keeps 90% of each approved payout. Payouts are approved at the end of each trading day and paid through Rise, with bank transfers taking one to three business days and crypto payouts arriving the same day or within 24 hours. Any processing fees are set by the payout provider rather than the firm.
Evaluations are monthly subscriptions. List prices run from $79 to $325 a month for Velocity, $129 to $425 for Prime and $89 to $529 for Premier+, depending on size, drawdown type and options such as Fast Pass. Straight to Funded accounts cost a one time fee of $329 to $734. There is no activation fee, and the subscription ends once the evaluation is passed.
It depends on the plan. Prime and Premier+ have no consistency rule in the evaluation, although the pricing page shows 50% on the Premier+ Standard pass option. Velocity applies 40% for the life of the account unless the daily payout add on is bought. Funded Prime accounts use 40% per payout cycle, Premier+ accounts bought from 9 September 2026 use 40%, and Straight to Funded uses 25%.
Yes. Traders may hold positions through all news releases, including tier one events such as FOMC, CPI and employment data, and there is no requirement to flatten before or after them. The firm warns that fills, spreads and slippage can be irregular at these times. Bots and algorithmic trading are not allowed, although VPNs and VPS services are permitted.
Simulated accounts connect through Tradovate on the web, desktop or mobile, and through NinjaTrader, TradingView via the Tradovate add on, and WealthCharts. Traders who reach the live stage move to Rithmic infrastructure, where they need to choose and pay for their own market data subscription. The firm lists CME Group futures, including equity indices, energy, metals and a range of commodities.
