Bulenox rules in full

Max DD Type

Chosen at purchase and locked for the life of the account, on every plan. Option 1: trailing drawdown calculated in real time on the highest account value, including open profit and commissions (intraday trailing), with no daily loss limit and full contract size. Option 2: end of day drawdown that moves only when the account closes at a new high, paired with a daily loss limit. On Master and Fast Track accounts the threshold stops permanently at starting balance plus $100 (for example $50,100 on 50K, reached at $52,600 on a Qualification Master). Live Funded Accounts start with their own end of day drawdown of $1,500, $2,000, $3,000 or $4,500 by Master size.

Daily DD Type

Option 2 only. Soft breach: trading is disabled for the rest of the session and resumes next session (realised and unrealised P&L plus commissions, 5:00 pm to 4:00 pm CT). Qualification and Master: $500, $1,100, $2,200, $3,300, removed on a Master Account once the drawdown locks. Fast Track: none on 25K, then $1,200, $2,500, $3,300, never lifted. Momentum: $600, $1,200, $2,500, $3,300. Option 1 accounts have no daily loss limit.

Consistency Rule

None in the Qualification or Momentum evaluation. Master Account (Qualification path): best day no more than 40% of total P&L, measured across the whole trading period and not reset after payouts (the Safety Threshold Reserve counts in the first calculation). Momentum Master: 35% per payout cycle. Fast Track: 20% for the first payout, 25% for the second and 30% from the third. Missing the ratio is not a breach; the trader keeps trading until it is met.

Minimum Trading Days

None to pass Qualification or Momentum. Master Account: 10 trading days per payout. Momentum Master: 5 qualifying profitable days per cycle ($100, $150, $200 or $250 net by size). Fast Track: none.

Time Limit

Qualification and Momentum access is valid for 30 days (a reset does not extend it); one time fee with no renewal. No time limit stated for Master, Momentum Master or Fast Track accounts.

Leverage

Not applicable; contract limits of 3, 7, 12 and 15 minis on Qualification, Master and all Option 1 accounts (Option 2 Qualification scales up to these), and 2, 4, 8 and 12 minis on Option 2 Fast Track and Momentum accounts. 1 mini equals 10 micros.

News Trading

Allowed on all accounts, with no blackout windows or forced closing around releases such as CPI, FOMC and NFP.

Holding Restrictions

No overnight or weekend holding. The trading day runs from 5:00 pm to 4:00 pm CT and all positions must be closed by 3:59 pm CT.

EAs/Copy

Bots, algorithms and trade copiers permitted if user built for the account owner's personal use only; commercial, shared, rented or publicly distributed automation is not allowed. Connecting to Rithmic through a third party API or Trader Composite Software costs $100 a month. One Bulenox profile and one Rithmic User ID per trader.

Commissions

All in, per side (rate sheet updated 11 August 2026): ES, NQ, RTY, EMD, YM $2.09; MES, MNQ, M2K, MYM $0.61; MBT $2.76; MET $0.46; 6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6M, 6N, 6S $2.36; M6A, M6B, M6E $0.50; CL, NG, RB $2.26; QM $1.96; QG $1.26; MCL, MGC $0.76; GC, SI, HG, PL $2.31; ZL, ZM, ZS, ZW, GF, HE, LE $2.86.

Fees

Qualification: one time fee for 30 days of access; reset $78 (does not extend access); Master activation fee $143, $148, $248, $498 (one time, includes market data and maintenance, no monthly fee; activation link valid 7 days). Momentum: one time fee that also covers the Momentum Master, no activation fee. Fast Track: one time fee, no activation or monthly fee. Master Account resets are priced individually. Market data is included for non professional status; professional status costs $116 a month for CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX (pricing page). Third party API or composite software connections cost $100 a month. All sales are final.

Scaling rules

Scaling Plan

Option 2 Qualification and Master accounts use a dynamic scaling plan based on cash on hand (for example 50K: 2 minis up to $1,500 profit, 4 minis to $4,000, 7 minis above). Fast Track and Momentum Option 2 accounts have fixed, lower limits with no scaling. Up to five Master level accounts (Master, Fast Track, Momentum Master) can be held at once; Qualification accounts are unlimited. After three successful payouts a Master level account may be considered for a live Funded Account at Bulenox's discretion, and other active Master level accounts with at least one payout may move with it, each to its own Funded Account. Profits do not transfer; each Funded Account starts with an initial end of day drawdown of $1,500, $2,000, $3,000 or $4,500.

Bulenox review

Rules and prices checked on 1 October 2026 against Bulenox’s own website and terms.

Bulenox is a futures prop firm operated by Bulenox LLC, with a registered address in Wilmington, Delaware. It sells three account types on Rithmic, each in $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $150,000 sizes. The Qualification Account is the classic evaluation, priced at $145 to $325 for 30 days of access, and passing it leads to a Master Account that needs a one time activation fee of $143 to $498. Momentum costs $94 to $358, uses the same profit targets and includes its Master stage with no activation fee. Fast Track skips the evaluation for a one time fee of $338 to $788. Before buying, traders choose between a trailing drawdown tracked in real time with full contract size, or an end of day drawdown with a daily loss limit, and the choice is locked for the life of the account. There are no minimum trading days to pass, news trading is allowed, and bots and trade copiers are permitted for personal use. Traders keep 100% of the first $10,000 in payouts and 90% after that. Master Account payouts need 10 trading days and are processed each Wednesday, while Fast Track and Momentum requests are normally processed the same day. Payouts are sent by ACH, wire transfer or PayPal.

Suits

Futures day traders who want a low entry price, unrestricted news trading and a choice between trailing and end of day drawdown.

Less suited to

You want to hold positions overnight, expect standard Master payouts more often than every 10 trading days, or live in a restricted country.

Pros

  • Traders keep 100% of the first $10,000 in payouts and 90% after that.
  • Every plan offers a choice of trailing or end of day drawdown, set at purchase.
  • News trading is allowed with no blackout windows around releases such as CPI, FOMC and NFP.
  • Momentum includes the funded stage with no activation fee, from $94 for a 25K account.
  • There is no minimum number of trading days to pass the Qualification or Momentum evaluation.

Cons

  • Master Accounts from the Qualification path cost an extra $143 to $498 to activate.
  • Standard Master payouts need 10 trading days each, are processed only on Wednesdays and are capped for the first three requests.
  • The 40% Master consistency rule is measured across the whole account history and does not reset after a payout.
  • Qualification and Momentum access lasts 30 days, and a $78 Qualification reset does not extend it.
  • The restricted list is long and includes China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Nigeria and Kenya.

Verdict

Bulenox gives traders three routes to a funded stage and two drawdown models on each. Momentum has a low starting price, with a 25K evaluation at $94 and no activation fee afterwards, and every plan pays 100% of the first $10,000 before moving to a 90/10 split. The drawdown choice is useful, although it cannot be changed after purchase. News trading is unrestricted and personal automation is permitted, which suits traders who run their own tools.

The trade offs sit in the payout rules. The standard Master Account asks for 10 trading days per payout, processes requests only on Wednesdays, caps the first three payouts at $1,000 to $2,000, and applies a 40% consistency rule measured across the whole life of the account rather than each cycle. The Qualification path also adds an activation fee of up to $498, and Qualification and Momentum access lasts 30 days, which a reset does not extend. Fast Track removes the evaluation but costs $338 to $788 and applies a 20% consistency rule to the first payout.

Two practical points also matter. All accounts connect through Rithmic, and traders who declare professional status pay a monthly data fee. The restricted list covers close to 100 countries and territories, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Nigeria.

Bulenox suits futures day traders who want a low entry price, news trading and a choice of drawdown model. It is a weaker fit for traders who want frequent payouts from the standard Master Account, where Fast Track or Momentum offer faster processing.

Questions about Bulenox

How much does Bulenox cost?

Bulenox charges one time fees rather than monthly subscriptions. The Qualification Account costs $145 to $325 for 30 days of access, and passing it leads to a Master Account with an activation fee of $143 to $498. Momentum costs $94 to $358 and includes its Master stage with no activation fee. Fast Track skips the evaluation for $338 to $788. A Qualification reset costs $78.

What is the Bulenox profit split?

Traders keep 100% of the first $10,000 in payouts, counted once per trader across all of their accounts. After that the split is 90% to the trader and 10% to Bulenox. Payouts are sent by ACH transfer, wire transfer or PayPal. Bulenox does not charge a transfer fee, although the receiving bank or PayPal may apply its own charges.

What drawdown does Bulenox use?

Each plan offers two options chosen at purchase. Option 1 is a trailing drawdown tracked in real time on the highest account value, including open profit. Option 2 is an end of day drawdown based on the closing balance, with a daily loss limit that pauses trading for the session. On Master and Fast Track accounts the threshold stops permanently at the starting balance plus $100.

How do Bulenox payouts work?

It depends on the account. A Master Account needs 10 trading days per payout, a minimum request of $1,000 and a 40% consistency rule, with payouts processed each Wednesday. Fast Track and Momentum Master requests are normally processed the same day, and Fast Track sets a 12:01 pm CT weekday cutoff. Fast Track uses a profit goal for each cycle, and Momentum Master needs five qualifying profitable days.

Can I trade news or use bots at Bulenox?

Yes. News trading is allowed on all accounts, with no blackout windows around releases such as CPI, FOMC and NFP. Bots, algorithms and trade copiers are permitted if the trader builds them for personal use, while commercial, shared or rented tools are not allowed. Connecting to Rithmic through a third party API or composite software costs $100 a month.

Which platforms and markets does Bulenox support?

All accounts run on Rithmic, and Bulenox lists more than 20 compatible platforms, including R Trader Pro, NinjaTrader, Quantower, Sierra Chart, MultiCharts, ATAS and Bookmap. NinjaTrader 8 comes with a free licence on the Master Account. The rate sheet covers 40 futures contracts on CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX, including equity indices, energy, metals, currencies, agriculture and micro crypto futures.
