Tradeify vs Take Profit Trader
Tradeify and Take Profit Trader both run a 50K evaluation with a $2,000 end of day trailing limit, but they differ on fees, funded drawdown, payout caps and automation.
Tradeify suits futures traders who want a one time fee with no activation charge, an end of day drawdown that carries into the funded account, a 90/10 split and the option to run an automated strategy they own. Take Profit Trader suits manual traders who want to withdraw from the first funded day with no payout windows and no cap on the amount, and who want a long list of Rithmic platforms. Both are Florida firms offering a 50K evaluation with a $2,000 end of day trailing limit, so the choice turns on cost structure, the funded drawdown and how payouts work.
All prices are list prices at the time of review in September 2026. Both firms run frequent discounts, so the price at checkout is often lower.

Rules and drawdown
Both evaluations use a $2,000 end of day trailing limit on 50K that follows the highest end of day balance, so open profit during the session does not lift the floor. Tradeify locks it at $50,100 once the end of day balance clears the drawdown by $100, and Take Profit Trader fixes it once it reaches the starting balance. Neither evaluation has a daily loss limit on these plans. The end of day drawdown guide explains the mechanics.
The funded stage is where they differ most. Tradeify keeps the same end of day trailing limit on every funded account, and on Select Flex it also locks when the first payout is requested. Take Profit Trader’s PRO account switches to an intraday trailing limit that follows the peak balance, including unrealised gains, and never rises above the starting balance. Intraday trailing is tighter, because a trade that runs into profit and then comes back still lifts the floor. The futures drawdown rules guide and drawdown calculator show the effect.
Consistency rules apply only in the evaluation at both firms. Tradeify Select caps the best day at 40% of profit, or 50% with a paid add on that lifts the 50K price to $205. Take Profit Trader caps it below 50% of total net profit, and breaking the rule raises the target rather than failing the test. Both need at least three trading days. The consistency rule calculator shows how much more profit a large day requires.
Tradeify’s Growth 50K, at $145, is the alternative for faster passes. It has no consistency rule in the evaluation and can be passed in one day, but carries a soft $1,250 daily limit and a 35% consistency rule on funded payouts.
News, holding and automation
News rules diverge once funded. Tradeify places no restriction on news, although on funded accounts more than half of all trades, and more than half of all profit, must come from positions held longer than 10 seconds. Take Profit Trader has no news rule on the test, but PRO and PRO+ accounts must have no open positions or working orders from one minute before to one minute after FOMC statements, Non Farm Payrolls and CPI.
Neither firm allows overnight holding. Tradeify requires positions to be closed by 4:45 pm ET, and Take Profit Trader closes open positions automatically at 4:55 pm ET. Position limits on 50K are four minis at Tradeify, with Select funded accounts starting at two and scaling to four, and six contracts or 60 micros at Take Profit Trader.
Automation is a firm dividing line. Tradeify allows bots and algorithms if the trader can prove sole ownership, and may ask for a live video of the code being enabled. Take Profit Trader bans bots and algorithms on every account, so all trades must be placed manually. Both allow approved trade copiers across a trader’s own accounts. The EA and bot rules guide sets out how firms police automation.
Pricing, resets and activation fees
Tradeify charges once, with no subscription and no activation fee: $165 for Select 50K and $145 for Growth 50K, however long the evaluation takes. Resets cost $75 to $239 on Select depending on size, all sales are final, and at the time of review a code gave 40% off. Market data is free for non professional traders once the data agreement is signed.
Take Profit Trader bills the 50K Test at $170 a month until the trader passes or cancels, and the PRO account needs a one time $130 activation fee, so a pass within the first month costs $300. Test resets cost $79 to $199 by size, and PRO resets cost $449 to $1,499, up to three per account. At the time of review a promotion cut the monthly price and removed the activation fee.
Commissions also differ. Tradeify lists $5.76 per round trip on ES and NQ and $1.82 on MES and MNQ. Take Profit Trader charges $4.50 per round trip on standard contracts and $1.50 on micros in the test and PRO accounts.
Payouts
Take Profit Trader’s payout policy is its defining feature. PRO traders can withdraw from the first day, on any day, with no payout window and no maximum amount, as long as the balance stays above a buffer of the starting balance plus the maximum drawdown, which is $52,000 on 50K. Transfers from a Tradovate PRO account to the Take Profit Trader wallet are automated, and wallet to bank requests are reviewed within 12 business hours. Payouts go by Plaid to US banks, PayPal or Wise, and wallet withdrawals of $250 or less carry a $50 fee. Taking money from inside the buffer means closing the PRO account, at a 50% split if it has been traded for 60 trading days or fewer.
Tradeify pays 90/10 on all simulated funded accounts and splits the choice at the funded stage. Select Flex pays up to half of total profit every five winning days of $150, capped at $2,500 on 50K for accounts bought after 1 September 2026. Select Daily allows a request on any day once its buffer is cleared, paying up to twice the profit made since the last request and capped at $1,250 on 50K. Payments go through Rise, with Plane as an alternative, and three approved payouts qualify a trader for Tradeify Elite live accounts at 80/20.
Both firms publish results. Tradeify reports that 17.2% of its evaluation accounts were completed between August 2025 and July 2026 and that 28.5% of traders who reached the funded level received a payout. Take Profit Trader reports that 36.22% of tests taken in 2025 were passed. The payout calculator compares take home pay at 90% and 80%.
