SabioTrade rules in full

Max DD Type

Trailing: equity must not fall more than 6% of the initial balance below the highest recorded closed balance (high water mark on closed trades, breach measured on equity including open positions). Once a withdrawal is requested the drawdown is set at the starting balance, and after the first payout equity must always stay above the initial balance. Hard breach.

Daily DD Type

5% of the previous day's closed balance, measured on equity; hard breach. The terms and FAQ record the reset at 00:00 UTC, while the plan tooltip says 5 pm EST.

Consistency Rule

55%: no single trading day and no single trade may exceed 55% of total profit, on assessment and funded accounts. On the assessment a day above 55% raises the profit target (new total = largest day divided by 0.55). Payouts also need 5 to 7 trades of comparable size and remain subject to review.

Minimum Trading Days

None stated; the assessment can be passed in a single session.

Time Limit

None, provided at least one trade is placed every 30 days (30 days of inactivity is a breach).

Leverage

Forex 1:30, commodities 1:25, stocks and ETFs 1:20, crypto 1:3; indices 1:100 in the plan details but 20:1 in the FAQ. Day Trading and Flash accounts offer higher leverage (1:100 on Flash).

News Trading

Not banned outright, but trading that resembles gambling, such as consistently placing trades just before news releases or other binary events, is prohibited.

Holding Restrictions

Overnight holding allowed with overnight fees. Weekend holding is listed on the standard plans; packages that do not allow it require positions to be closed by Friday 3:45 pm EST. Day Trading and Flash accounts close all positions at the end of the day.

EAs/Copy

Automated or semi automated trading (bots, algorithms, scripts, APIs, trade copiers, EAs) is prohibited without prior written approval. Scalping, high frequency trading, hedging, cross account hedging, arbitrage and exploiting latency or pricing errors are prohibited.

Commissions

Not published. Overnight fees apply to positions held overnight; zero spreads on specific FX pairs at specific times on Pro plans.

Fees

One time assessment fee, no monthly fee, no activation fee stated. Pro 3 ($259) and Pro 12 ($829) bundle three or twelve $20,000 assessment accounts with 3 or 12 months of academy access, mentoring and zero spreads on selected FX pairs at set times. Separate academy subscriptions cost $13.86, $39.99 and $79.99 for 1, 4 and 12 weeks. Free 7 day trial account. Prices are charged in EUR in Europe and GBP in the UK. Overnight fees are deducted from the account. No refunds once access is provided.

Scaling rules

Scaling Plan

No scaling plan. Accounts cannot be merged, and users are limited to one active account per assessment level without written approval.

SabioTrade review

Rules and prices checked on 1 October 2026 against SabioTrade’s own website and terms.

SabioTrade is a CFD prop firm that says it was founded in 2022 and is run by Codevil IT Engineering Limited, a company registered in Dublin, Ireland. It sells one step assessments for a one time fee: Essential at $119 for $20,000, Plus at $289 for $50,000, Advanced at $479 for $100,000, Ultimate at $939 for $200,000 and Prime at $2,989 for $650,000. Pro 3 and Pro 12 bundles add three or twelve $20,000 assessment attempts with longer academy access for $259 and $829. Every plan asks for 10% profit on closed balance, with a 5% daily loss limit and a 6% maximum drawdown that trails the highest closed balance. There is no time limit, but an account breaches after 30 days without a trade. A 55% consistency rule applies to the best day and to any single trade, and a large day raises the target rather than failing the account. Funded traders keep 80% on the two smaller plans and 90% on the rest, and can request a payout every seven days by bank transfer, crypto or Amaiz wallet. Trading takes place on the firm's own QuadCode based Traderoom, covering forex, stocks, commodities, indices, ETFs and crypto, with forex leverage up to 1:30. US citizens are not accepted.

Suits

Manual forex and CFD traders who hold positions for hours or days, keep steady sizes and want weekly payout requests.

Less suited to

You scalp, run automated strategies, need MetaTrader or TradingView, or hold US citizenship.

Pros

  • One step assessments have no time limit and no monthly fee, from $119 for a $20,000 account.
  • Payouts can be requested every seven days, and the firm states they are processed within 24 hours.
  • A best day above 55% raises the profit target rather than failing the assessment.
  • Positions can be held overnight and at weekends on the standard plans, with overnight fees applied.
  • Academy courses, webinars and mentoring are included in every plan.

Cons

  • Scalping, high frequency trading, hedging and unapproved automation are all prohibited.
  • The 6% drawdown trails the highest closed balance, and after the first payout equity must stay above the starting balance.
  • Funded accounts from assessments bought from 2 February 2026 forfeit remaining profit on any rule breach.
  • Trading is limited to the firm's QuadCode based Traderoom platform.
  • The split can be reduced to 70% if the risk team flags an account for high risk trading.

Verdict

SabioTrade's appeal lies in its simple structure. There is one assessment step, the same percentages on every account size, no time limit and no monthly fee, and payouts can be requested every seven days from the first cycle. The consistency rule is handled more gently than a hard cap, because a large day raises the profit target instead of failing the account, and weekend holding is allowed on the standard plans. The academy, webinars and mentoring are included in every plan.

The restrictions are significant. Scalping, high frequency trading, hedging, arbitrage and any automated or semi automated trading without written approval are all prohibited, and trades placed repeatedly ahead of news releases can be treated as gambling. Payouts need five to seven trades of comparable size, no single trade above 55% of profit, and remain subject to review. After the first payout the account must stay above its starting balance, and for assessments bought from 2 February 2026 any breach of the funded account forfeits the remaining profit. The firm can also cut the split to 70% if an account is flagged for high risk trading.

Trading is limited to the firm's QuadCode based platform, and forex leverage is capped at 1:30. The terms point to a list of restricted countries that does not appear in the published text, although US citizens are excluded wherever they live. Trustpilot shows a rating of 3.5 from 697 reviews.

SabioTrade suits manual forex and CFD traders who hold positions for hours or days, keep steady position sizes and value education alongside the assessment. It is a poor fit for scalpers, algorithmic traders and anyone who wants MetaTrader or TradingView.

Payouts

Profit Split

80/20 on Essential and Plus, 90/10 on Advanced, Ultimate and Prime from the first payout; can be revised to 70/30 if the risk team flags an account

Frequency

Every 7 days; all positions closed, no pending withdrawal and at least one new trade since the last payout. Processed within 24 hours according to the FAQ.

First Payout

KYC (ID and proof of address) and a signed service agreement are required for the funded account. First payout needs all positions closed, 5 to 7 trades of comparable size and no single trade above 55% of profit. After the first payout the drawdown floor moves to the starting balance. For funded accounts from assessments bought on or after 2 February 2026, any breach forfeits remaining profit.

Payout Methods

Bank transfer, Crypto wallet, Amaiz wallet (EU residents only)

Min. Payout

Recommended minimums: $15 by bank transfer, $1 by crypto wallet, €2 by Amaiz wallet

How much does SabioTrade cost?

SabioTrade charges a one time fee with no monthly subscription. Essential costs $119 for $20,000, Plus $289 for $50,000, Advanced $479 for $100,000, Ultimate $939 for $200,000 and Prime $2,989 for $650,000. Pro 3 and Pro 12 cost $259 and $829 for three or twelve $20,000 assessments. European buyers pay in euros and UK buyers in pounds.

What are the SabioTrade trading rules?

To pass, traders need 10% profit on closed balance with all positions closed. Equity must not fall more than 5% below the previous day's closing balance, or more than 6% of the initial balance below the highest closed balance. No day or single trade may exceed 55% of total profit, and at least one trade is needed every 30 days.

What profit split does SabioTrade offer?

Essential and Plus accounts pay 80% of profit to the trader, and Advanced, Ultimate and Prime pay 90%, from the first payout with no scaling needed. The firm can reduce the split to 70% if its risk team formally flags an account for high risk trading or issues a documented warning for prohibited activity.

How do SabioTrade payouts work?

Traders can request a payout every seven days once all positions are closed and at least one new trade has been placed since the last request. Payouts need five to seven trades of comparable size and are paid by bank transfer, crypto wallet or, for EU residents, Amaiz wallet. After the first payout, equity must stay above the starting balance.

Which platform and markets does SabioTrade offer?

All accounts trade on the Sabio Traderoom, a platform powered by QuadCode that runs in the browser and on mobile. It covers more than 250 assets across forex, stocks, commodities, indices, ETFs and crypto. Maximum leverage is 1:30 on forex, 1:25 on commodities, 1:20 on stocks and ETFs and 1:3 on crypto.

Can I scalp or use EAs at SabioTrade?

No. Scalping, high frequency trading, hedging, cross account hedging and arbitrage are prohibited. Bots, EAs, scripts, APIs and trade copiers need prior written approval from SabioTrade. Trading that resembles gambling, such as repeatedly placing trades just before news releases or risking most of the account on one trade, can lead to account closure.
