Max DD Type

Chosen at purchase and fixed for the life of the account: intraday trailing (Trail plans, follows the highest live balance including open profit), end of day trailing (EOD plans, updates after the session closes) or static (never moves). In evaluations the trailing threshold stops at the profit target; on Pro accounts it stops at the initial balance. Straight to Funded uses end of day drawdown; Straight to Live uses intraday trailing.

Daily DD Type

EOD plans have a daily loss limit ($800 on 25K, $1,250 on 50K, $2,000 on 150K, $3,250 on 300K). Trail and Static plans have no daily loss limit. Straight to Funded: none on 25K, $1,250 on 50K, $3,750 on 150K. Straight to Live: $1,000 to $3,250.

News Trading

Allowed, with a warning in the evaluation rules about reduced liquidity and higher volatility.

EAs/Copy

Automated high frequency trading is prohibited on all accounts. Hedging (including long in one account and short in another) is prohibited, and the help centre lists a no martingale rule. Dollar cost averaging is permitted.

Holding Restrictions

Positions may be held through the market close, subject to mark to market adjustments. Trading day runs 6:00 pm ET to 5:00 pm ET.

Consistency Rule

Evaluation: no single day above 50% of total simulated profit (small variance allowed). Pro: 30%. Straight to Funded: 20%. Straight to Live evaluation: 25%. Live accounts: none.

Minimum Trading Days

2 qualifying days to pass an evaluation (8 for Straight to Live). A qualifying day must meet the minimum daily profit: $100 (25K), $200 (50K and 75K), $300 (100K, 150K, 250K), $400 (300K).

Time Limit

None. Activity requirement: one time (lifetime) accounts need 4 qualifying days in each rolling 30 day cycle; monthly accounts need 1.

Leverage

Not applicable; position size is set by contract limits per plan (for example 10 minis or 100 micros on the 50K EOD and Trail plans).

Commissions

Rithmic commissions per round turn: $3.98 for ES, NQ, YM, RTY; $4.72 for currency futures; $5.58 for agricultural futures; $3.96 for CL and NG; $4.62 for metals; $1.02 for MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K and MCL.

Fees

Pro activation fee $5 one time for all sizes. No activation fee on Straight to Funded or live accounts. Real time data free on Straight to Funded and Straight to Live accounts. No resets: a failed account is cancelled and a new one bought. Evaluations can be paid one time or billed monthly at the same price.

Scaling rules

Scaling Plan

Live accounts: once the trailing drawdown reaches the initial balance, the trader can ask the Risk Team for a review, which may add one contract, convert the daily loss limit to a percentage of start of day balance, or in some cases remove it. From 12 August 2026, multiple passed Straight to Live accounts are activated one at a time.

DayTraders.com review

Rules and prices checked on 28 September 2026 against DayTraders.com’s own website and terms.

DayTraders.com is a futures prop firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and established in 2023. Traders buy a simulated evaluation, pass it and move to a Pro account, or they can skip the evaluation with a Straight to Funded account, or take a Straight to Live evaluation that leads to a live account. Evaluations come in three drawdown models chosen at purchase: end of day trailing, intraday trailing and static. Prices on the current pricing table run from $40 for a 25K static account to $400 for a 300K end of day account, and each evaluation can be paid once or billed monthly at the same rate. Passing takes at least two qualifying days, and a qualifying day must reach a minimum profit of $100 to $400 depending on account size. The evaluation consistency rule caps any single day at 50% of total profit. Pro accounts carry a $5 activation fee, pay 100% of simulated profit and allow a request every eight qualifying days, with a $500 minimum and a cap of $1,000 to $5,000 per request. Live accounts pay 80% of profit and allow daily requests once the drawdown has locked. Trading runs through Rithmic, and the firm is building its own browser platform called ArcTrader.

Suits

Intraday futures traders who produce frequent, modest winning days and want a low entry price with a choice of drawdown model.

Less suited to

You make most of your profit on a few large days, because the consistency caps and qualifying day minimums slow down payouts.

Pros

  • Evaluations start at $40, and Pro accounts carry a one time activation fee of only $5.
  • Traders can choose end of day trailing, intraday trailing or static drawdown when they buy an account.
  • Pro and Straight to Funded accounts pay 100% of simulated profit.
  • Live accounts have no consistency rule or minimum daily profit and allow daily payout requests once the drawdown locks.
  • There is no time limit on evaluations, and one time purchases carry no recurring charge.

Cons

  • Each payout request on a Pro account needs eight qualifying days, and each of those days must clear a minimum profit.
  • Consistency rules are strict, with caps of 30% on Pro accounts and 20% on Straight to Funded accounts.
  • Static accounts give very little room, such as $1,000 of drawdown on a 50K account.
  • Payment is by card only, and there are no resets, so a failed account has to be bought again.
  • Live accounts start with small contract limits of one to three contracts.

Verdict

DayTraders.com has a low entry price, with evaluations from $40, and the $5 activation fee removes a cost that is often charged at the funded stage. The choice of three drawdown models is useful, because it lets a trader match the account to their style rather than adapt to a single rule set. The static accounts are cheap but tight: a 50K static account gives only $1,000 of room against a $3,750 target, which suits disciplined traders with small stops.

The payout side needs closer reading. Pro accounts pay 100% of simulated profit, but each request needs eight qualifying days, and a day only qualifies if it clears a minimum profit figure. Combined with a 30% consistency cap and a required balance above the starting level, this rewards steady daily results rather than a few large sessions. Straight to Funded accounts are stricter still, with ten qualifying days and a 20% consistency rule, and they cost several times more than an evaluation.

The live route is the most distinctive part of the offer. Live accounts have no consistency rule or minimum daily profit, pay 80% and allow daily requests once the drawdown locks, although contract limits start small at one to three contracts.

Card payment is the only listed way to pay, payouts go through Plane, and the service is limited to non professional traders. The firm suits active intraday futures traders who can produce frequent modest winning days and want a low entry cost. It is a weaker fit for traders who make most of their money on a handful of large days.

Questions about DayTraders.com

What drawdown types does DayTraders.com offer?

Traders choose one of three models when buying an evaluation. Intraday trailing follows the highest live balance, including open profit, and has no daily loss limit. End of day trailing updates only after the session closes and comes with a daily loss limit. Static drawdown never moves. The model cannot be changed once the account is created, and Pro accounts keep the same model as the evaluation that led to them.

How much does a DayTraders.com evaluation cost?

On the current pricing table, static evaluations cost $40 to $90, intraday trailing evaluations cost $55 to $140 and end of day evaluations cost $80 to $400, depending on account size. Straight to Funded accounts cost $222 to $495, and Straight to Live evaluations cost $179 to $449. Evaluations can be paid once or billed monthly at the same rate, and Pro activation costs $5.

What is the DayTraders.com consistency rule?

During an evaluation, no single trading day can exceed 50% of total simulated profit, although the help centre allows a small variance if other days balance it out. On Pro accounts the cap tightens to 30%, and on Straight to Funded accounts it is 20%. Straight to Live evaluations use a 25% cap, and live accounts carry no consistency rule at all.

How do payouts work on DayTraders.com Pro accounts?

Pro accounts pay 100% of simulated profit. A request needs eight qualifying days, each meeting the minimum daily profit of $100 to $400 for the account size, and the account must hold a set balance before and after the withdrawal. The minimum request is $500 and the maximum is $1,000 to $5,000. Payouts are handled through Plane, and approvals before 5 pm ET show the same day.

Which platforms can I use with DayTraders.com?

Accounts run on Rithmic, so traders can use R Trader Pro or connect other Rithmic compatible software. The help centre has connection guides for Quantower, Sierra Chart, ATAS, Bookmap, MotiveWave, Jigsaw and WealthCharts, among others. The firm is also building ArcTrader, a browser platform with TradingView charts, which shows as coming soon at checkout. Live accounts include a free Onyx licence.

Is there a time limit to pass the evaluation?

No. There is no maximum number of days to reach the profit target, and at least two qualifying days are needed to pass. Accounts must stay active, though. One time purchases need four qualifying days in each rolling 30 day period, and monthly accounts need one. There are no resets, so a failed account is cancelled and a new one is bought.
