BrightFunded Futures rules in full
Max DD Type
BrightPlus: intraday trailing on peak equity, including open profit. BrightCore: end of day trailing from the highest daily close. $1,000, $2,000, $3,000 or $4,500. It never locks during the evaluation; once funded it locks at the starting balance plus $100. Checked on live equity.
Daily DD Type
None on either plan; the maximum loss limit is the only loss rule.
Consistency Rule
Evaluation only: best day no more than 40% of profit on BrightCore or 50% on BrightPlus. It blocks the pass but is never a breach. None once funded.
Minimum Trading Days
None beyond what the consistency rule implies. More than 50% of winning profit must come from trades held over 15 seconds. BrightCore payouts need 5 winning days ($100 to $300 net each).
Time Limit
None. A trade is needed every 30 days in the evaluation and every 7 trading days when funded, or the account breaches.
Leverage
Not applicable; contract limits of 2, 4, 8 and 12 minis (20 to 120 micros).
News Trading
Allowed in both phases, with no blackout.
Holding Restrictions
Intraday only: everything closes automatically at 4:45 pm ET, which is not a breach.
EAs/Copy
Bots and EAs allowed. Copy trading allowed between your own accounts; copying others or group trading is a hard breach. Hedging banned, including mini against micro and correlated instruments.
Commissions
All in, per side: $2.88 on ES, NQ, RTY and YM; $0.95 on micros; $3.00 on CL; $3.15 on GC; about $3.60 on agricultural contracts.
Fees
One time fee, no activation fee or subscription. Add ons: 100% split +30%, double payout cap +50%, 3 day cycle on BrightCore +30%. Resets 45% off list within a window after a breach. Refund within 7 days if not traded. Code BRIGHTFUTURES gave 40% off in November 2026.
Scaling rules
Scaling Plan
Prime Program: after 5 payouts on one account, 10 across accounts or 20% profit, traders are invited to choose Live (real CME capital starting at $0, 80% daily payouts and bonuses every 10 winning days up to $30K per account) or a one time Cash Out of 50% of the max loss. The choice must be made within 24 hours, defaults to Live, and closes all funded accounts. Up to 5 funded accounts per household, $750K in total.
BrightFunded Futures review
BrightFunded Futures is the futures program of BrightFunded, the prop firm established in 2023, run by BrightFunded LLC (Wyoming, with an Austin, Texas address) separately from the group's CFD business. Traders take a one step evaluation with a 6% target on CME Group futures through NinjaTrader, Tradovate or TradingView, at $25,000 to $150,000, and US traders are accepted. There are two plans, both one time fees with no daily loss limit and no time limit. BrightPlus costs $120 to $380, uses an intraday trailing drawdown and pays daily once the account clears a buffer. BrightCore costs $130 to $460, uses an end of day trailing drawdown and pays after five winning days. Funded traders keep 80%, or 100% with an add on, and top traders can move to a real live account with cash bonuses.
Suits
Futures traders, US included, who want no daily loss limit, end of day drawdown on BrightCore, or daily payouts on BrightPlus.
Less suited to
You want uncapped payouts or long term funded accounts, or you rely on independent review scores when choosing a firm.
Pros
- No daily loss limit on either plan, and no time limit.
- BrightPlus pays daily, with the first payout possible a day after the first trade.
- BrightCore uses an end of day trailing drawdown.
- US traders accepted.
- News trading allowed in every phase.
- Add ons for a 100% split, double payout caps and shorter payout cycles.
Cons
- Each funded account is limited to five payouts, with caps per request.
- BrightPlus drawdown trails intraday and does not lock during the evaluation.
- Live invitation must be answered within 24 hours and closes all funded accounts.
- High commissions, from $2.88 per side on minis.
- Trustpilot has removed BrightFunded's rating over a guideline breach.
Verdict
BrightFunded Futures is a clean, modern futures offer with some genuinely trader friendly touches. There is no daily loss limit on either plan, no time limit, news trading is allowed in every phase, and the evaluation is a single 6% target. Prices are competitive, from $120 for $25K, and code BRIGHTFUTURES was taking 40% off in November 2026. US traders are welcome, which rules out many futures newcomers.
The two plans suit different styles. BrightPlus pays daily once the balance clears a buffer, with the first payout possible a day after the first funded trade, but its drawdown trails intraday on open profit. BrightCore uses the gentler end of day trailing drawdown and pays after five winning days, or three with an add on. Add ons can also lift the split to 100% and double the payout cap. The help centre is detailed, with 74 articles.
Payouts are capped at $1,000 to $4,000 a request, and on BrightCore each request is limited to half of current profit. Each funded account can pay out five times, after which the trader is invited to choose Live, which starts at $0 with real capital and a bonus ladder, or a one time cash out. That choice must be made within 24 hours and closes all funded accounts. Commissions are on the high side, and all positions close at 4:45 pm ET.
Trustpilot currently shows no rating for BrightFunded, with a notice that the rating was removed over a breach of its guidelines, so we do not show a score.
BrightFunded Futures suits US and international futures traders who want no daily loss limit and the choice of daily or winning day payouts.
