Leveraged review
Leveraged is a prop trading firm operated by GetLeveraged Ltd, which is registered in Saint Lucia, with its head office and billing company in Limassol, Cyprus. It sells simulated evaluations on MetaTrader 5 and cTrader covering forex, indices, metals, energies, commodities, crypto and stocks, and every funded account pays an 80% profit split. There are three forex and CFD product lines. Turbo is a one step challenge from $10,000 to $200,000 where the trader pays $8.88 to start and an activation fee only after passing, with a 6% target, a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% trailing maximum loss. Sprint is a one step challenge from $10,000 to $100,000, priced from $49, with a 2% target and loss limits of 1% a day and 1% overall. The Classic range has a $5,000 one step Junior account, a two step Senior account from $10,000 to $100,000 with targets of 5% and 8% and a 10% static limit, and a three step Executive account from $250,000 to $1,000,000 with targets of 6%, 8% and 10%. None of the challenges has a time limit, and Classic accounts need three profitable days of at least 0.5% in each phase. High impact news trading is restricted on every program except Sprint, and commercial expert advisors are not allowed.
Suits
Cost conscious forex traders who want a pay after you pass option or a two step account with a 10% static limit, and who can trade around news restrictions.
Less suited to
Avoid Leveraged if you depend on trading high impact news outside Sprint, use a commercial expert advisor, or want a firm with a visible Trustpilot rating and a long public track record.
Pros
- Turbo lets traders start a challenge for $8.88 and pay the activation fee only after they pass.
- Every funded account pays an 80% profit split, and the simulation fee is refunded on the third payout.
- The Classic Senior account pairs a 10% static maximum loss with a 5% daily limit and 1:100 forex leverage.
- No program has a time limit, and positions can be held overnight and over the weekend.
- Traders can choose between MetaTrader 5 and cTrader when they buy an account.
Cons
- Turbo uses a trailing maximum loss and requires a consistency score of 20% or less before each funded payout.
- High impact news trading is restricted on every program except Sprint, with a five minute window either side of each release.
- Sprint has loss limits of 1% a day and 1% overall, which leaves very little room for a losing trade.
- Trustpilot shows no rating for Leveraged and says the rating is unavailable because of a breach of its guidelines.
- Payouts by wire transfer or Revolut carry a $25 operational fee.
Verdict
Leveraged gives traders a wide choice of risk profiles under one roof, and its pricing is easy to follow. Turbo suits traders who want to test themselves for $8.88 and pay the rest only after passing, and the total cost of a $100,000 Turbo account works out at $549, the same as the Classic Senior account of that size. The trade off is a trailing maximum loss on Turbo, which rises with the closed balance until it locks at the starting balance, plus a 20% consistency score and three profitable days before each funded payout. The Classic Senior account is the most forgiving option, with a 10% static limit, a 5% daily limit and 1:100 forex leverage, while the Junior and Executive accounts use tighter limits of 3% a day and 6% overall at 1:30. Sprint is a different product altogether. Its 2% target is low, but a 1% daily and 1% overall limit leaves almost no room for a losing run, so it rewards small, precise risk rather than swing trading. All funded accounts pay 80%, payouts run on a 14 day cycle with an instant first withdrawal on Sprint, and approved requests are usually processed within 48 hours. Wire and Revolut withdrawals carry a $25 fee, and the simulation fee is refunded on the third payout. Two points deserve weight before buying. The website does not state when the firm was founded, and Trustpilot currently shows no rating for Leveraged, saying the rating is unavailable because of a breach of its guidelines and that fake reviews were removed. The firm suits cost conscious forex traders who can work within static limits and news restrictions.
