FundedNext vs Funding Pips
FundedNext and Funding Pips set the same targets and loss limits on a $100K two step, but they differ on price, payout cycles, fee refunds and what funded accounts may hold overnight.
FundedNext suits traders who want the lower list price on a $100K two step, weekend holding on the funded account, the fee back with the first reward and a written 24 hour payout promise. Funding Pips suits traders who want to choose their payout rhythm at purchase, from weekly payouts at 60% to monthly payouts at 100%, and who either close positions each day or will pay for the Swing add on. The two challenges share the same targets and loss limits, so the choice is about cost, payouts and funded account rules.
All prices are list prices at the time of review in September 2026. Both firms run frequent discount codes, so the checkout price is often lower.

Rules and drawdown
On the two step models the evaluation rules match closely. Both ask for 8% and then 5%, set a 5% daily limit and cap total losses at 10% from the starting balance, so the floor on $100K stays at $90,000. Funding Pips lets traders pick a 3% daily limit instead, which removes its three day minimum per phase. FundedNext needs five trading days and counts swap charges towards the daily loss. Neither firm sets a time limit.
Consistency rules depend on the payout option. FundedNext applies a 40% best day rule only when a trader chooses on demand rewards. Funding Pips applies a 35% consistency score on the 2 Step Standard only for the on demand and monthly cycles. On the default options at both firms there is no consistency rule. The prop firm consistency guide explains how these scores are calculated.
Each firm has other models. FundedNext sells Stellar Lite at $399.99 for $100K, with targets of 8% and 4% and limits of 4% and 8%, and a Stellar 1 Step at $569.99 with a 10% target and a 6% static limit. Funding Pips sells a 2 Step Pro at $466 with 6% targets and a 6% static limit, a 2 Step Flex at $555 with a 12% static limit, and a 1 Step Flex at $666 with a 12% target and a 12% static limit.
Funded account rules
Holding rules are the biggest practical difference. FundedNext allows overnight and weekend holding on Stellar challenge and funded accounts. Funding Pips allows holding during the evaluation, but on 2 Step and 1 Step Flex funded accounts open positions are closed automatically at the end of each day unless the trader buys the Swing add on. The automatic close is not a breach, but it rules out holding trades overnight on a standard funded account.
News rules are similar in scope but differ in effect. On FundedNext funded accounts, only 40% of the profit from trades opened or closed within five minutes of listed high impact news on a correlated instrument counts, while losses count in full. On Funding Pips funded accounts, profit from trades opened or closed within five minutes of restricted high impact news, or ten minutes of restricted speeches, on the affected currency may be deducted, unless the trade was opened five hours or more before the event. FundedNext also caps open risk on funded accounts at 3% of the balance at any time, and it allows expert advisors only on MetaTrader accounts below $50,000, so a $100K account must be traded manually.
Pricing and fee refunds
At list price FundedNext is cheaper for this size, at $549.99 against $652. Funding Pips prices change with the options chosen: the 3% daily limit, other payout cycles and a swap free account change the fee, and cTrader adds $20. FundedNext refunds the Stellar 2 Step fee with the first reward, while Funding Pips refunds the fee with the fourth reward, and only on the 2 Step Standard. Prices for US clients differ at FundedNext.
Payouts
FundedNext’s standard option pays the first reward after 21 days and then every 14 days at 80%. Traders who choose three winning day rewards receive 60%, on demand rewards pay 90%, and a paid add on lifts the share to 95%. FundedNext promises to process rewards within 24 hours or add $1,000 to the payout, excluding bank transfers and manual reviews, and charges a processing fee of up to 3.5%. Methods include USDT, USDC, RiseWorks and bank transfer, with a $1,000 minimum by bank. On challenges bought from 12 January 2026, its FundedNext Pro scale up adds 25% to the balance after four rewards with at least 4% growth in each, up to $4 million.
Funding Pips ties the split to the payout cycle chosen at purchase. On the 2 Step Standard, weekly payouts pay 60%, fortnightly 80%, on demand 90% and monthly 100%. The minimum payout is 1% of the funded account size, and $500 by Rise or bank transfer. Requests are processed within one to three working days, plus one to two working days for funds to arrive, and trading is disabled while a request is processed. Methods include card in selected regions, USDT or USDC, Rise and bank transfer. More on how payout cycles compare is in prop firm payouts.
