My Forex Funds Relaunch: What’s New and What to Check
My Forex Funds reopens on 23 November under a new owner. Here is what changes, how the strike system works, and what happens to accounts frozen in 2023.
My Forex Funds, one of the biggest names in prop trading before regulators shut it down in 2023, says it will reopen on 23 November 2026. The brand is the same. The company behind it, the rules and the trading setup are not. If you traded with the old firm, or you are weighing up the new one, here is what is changing and what to check first.
One thing to clear up straight away: My Forex Funds is not My Funded Futures. Both have gone by the initials MFF, but they are separate, unrelated companies. My Funded Futures is a US futures prop firm that has been trading throughout, and it is currently our top pick in the best futures prop firms guide. Nothing in this story affects it.
What happened to the old My Forex Funds
In August 2023 the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission sued Traders Global, the company that ran My Forex Funds, and its accounts were frozen overnight. The case later collapsed: Finance Magnates reports that a US court dismissed it over the regulator’s own misconduct. By then the firm had been closed for well over a year, and traders had spent that time unable to reach their accounts.
On 1 August 2026, Traders Global sold the brand, website and social accounts to Global Solutions, a new Dubai company run by Haider Raza, a former My Forex Funds operations director. The sale covered the name only. Global Solutions did not take on Traders Global’s debts, and the old chief executive has no role in the new business.
Who runs it now
The evaluations and funded accounts will be run by Global Solutions Operations FZE, licensed by the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority. The trading technology and MetaTrader access come from Globeline Markets, a company registered in Saint Lucia in 2026. That is a common setup for prop firms, but it is worth knowing: neither licence is a financial regulator in the sense the FCA or ASIC is, and you are trading simulated accounts, as you would at almost any prop firm. Our guide to prop firm regulation explains what that means in practice.
What the new firm is offering
The firm’s site confirms two programmes. Evolution is a 1 Step or 2 Step evaluation on accounts from $5,000 to $300,000, with a reward split of up to 90%. Accelerated skips the evaluation entirely, on accounts from $2,000 to $50,000 with a 70% split. Prices have not been published yet.
The detailed Evolution rules the firm has shared ahead of launch, as reported by The Prop Journalist, look like this. Treat them as provisional until they appear on the firm’s own site.
| 1 Step | 2 Step | |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target | 12% | 8%, then 6% |
| Maximum loss | 6%, static | 10%, static |
| Minimum days or time limit | None | None |
| Weekend holding | Not allowed | Not allowed |
| Leverage | 1:50 FX, 1:30 metals and indices | 1:50 FX, 1:30 metals and indices |
A static maximum loss is the friendlier kind: the floor stays where it started instead of rising with your profits. Our static vs trailing drawdown guide shows why that matters.
The strike system is the part to understand
Once funded, you start in Partner status: no profit target, no daily loss limit, and rewards from $100 on any day. If your equity falls to a set level, the firm closes your trades, adds a strike and moves you to Intern status, where a 3% daily loss limit applies until you are back to break even. Hit the strike limit and the account is breached.
On a $100,000 account, that switch level is $97,000 or $98,000 depending on the setup you choose. In other words, a 2% to 3% drop is enough to earn a strike, even though the account’s maximum loss is much larger. If you are used to only watching the overall drawdown, this is the rule most likely to catch you out. Clearing a strike means withdrawing 10% of the account size in profit after it.
What happens to accounts frozen in 2023
If you had an account when the firm closed and kept it active through this year’s claims process, it is due to be restored to how it stood on 29 August 2023. Restores are planned in two random halves: the first on 23 November and the second 30 days later. Accounts that were already paid out or refunded in the 2026 claims process will not be restored; those traders are being offered a free 2 Step Evolution account of the same size instead. The old Rapid programme is not coming back.

Who can sign up
MetaTrader will not be offered to traders in the United States, and the firm says other platforms may be. Canada and the UAE are reported as excluded at launch. Check the firm’s Excluded Countries list in its terms before you pay.
Should you sign up on day one?
There is no rush. The rules look reasonable on paper, and a static drawdown with no time limit is genuinely trader friendly. But this is a new company with a famous name and no track record of its own yet. Waiting a few weeks costs you nothing except a launch discount, and it lets you see whether the first payouts arrive on time. Our prop firm red flags checklist and status tracker are good places to start.
