TradePath Funding rules in full
Max DD Type
One Step and Two Step: static, set from the starting balance and never moves (6% on One Step, 7% on Two Step; add ons raise it by 1% or 2%). Instant Funding: 8% trailing, which locks at the starting balance once the account is up 8%. Instant Funding Lite: 5% trailing until it reaches the starting balance, then locks. Lock Upon Payout is on by default: after the first payout the floor is fixed at the starting balance unless the Remove Lock add on was bought. A breach fails an assessment or closes a funded account.
Daily DD Type
5% on One Step, Two Step and Instant Funding, 3% on Instant Funding Lite. It resets at 5:00 pm New York time and is measured from the greater of the previous day's closing balance or equity. A breach is a hard breach. Two Step add ons raise it to 6% or 7%.
Consistency Rule
None on One Step, Two Step or Instant Funding. Instant Funding Lite: no single day may make more than 25% of total profit before a payout. It is not a breach rule; the trader keeps trading until it is met.
Minimum Trading Days
None.
Time Limit
None on the FX and CFD programs. Accounts are breached after 30 days without trading.
Leverage
Up to 1:50 on FX and metals, 1:10 on indices, 1:5 on oil and 1:2 on crypto.
News Trading
No new positions from 3 minutes before to 3 minutes after a news event, in both the assessment and funded stages. Breaking the rule can mean the trade's profit is removed, leverage is cut or the account is breached.
Holding Restrictions
Positions can be held overnight and over the weekend on assessment and funded accounts, although only crypto trades at the weekend. Instant Funding accounts must be flat by 3:45 pm EST on Friday unless the Weekend Holding add on was bought.
EAs/Copy
Automated strategies are allowed, but third party or off the shelf strategies, latency exploits and strategies sold for passing challenges are banned. Copying trades is allowed only between accounts the trader owns; signal services, group trading and copying other traders are not.
Commissions
Not stated for the FX and CFD programs.
Fees
One time fee for each FX and CFD plan. Add ons are priced as a percentage of the plan: 90% split +20%, 8% profit target on One Step +35%, bi weekly payouts +15%, Remove Lock Upon Payout +25%, Payout Protector +25%. There are no resets and the terms say purchases are not refunded. Code SELECTPROP gives 30% off all plans.
Scaling rules
Scaling Plan
No scaling plan is published. Up to $1,000,000 can be held in active assessments and the same again in funded accounts, with one account per size and plan; Instant Funding is capped at $190,000, one account of each size.
TradePath Funding review
TradePath Funding is a multi market prop firm from TradePath Global Limited in Hong Kong, founded by Reece Watkins after nearly seven years in proprietary trading and brokerage. It runs on the established Prop Account (FPFX Tech) platform, which handles checkout, KYC, payouts and the trading accounts. The core offer is FX and CFDs on DXtrade, Match Trader, cTrader or PropX: a One Step with a 10% target, 5% daily loss and 6% static drawdown, a Two Step with targets of 8% and 5% and a 7% static drawdown, and Instant Funding and Instant Funding Lite accounts that skip the evaluation. Challenge sizes run from $5,000 to $400,000, list prices start at $29.99, and the split is 80%, or 90% with an add on. Beyond FX, TradePath offers futures plans, including a monthly One Step Futures plan and a Funded Futures plan that pays at every phase, a One Step Equities plan on PropX and a One Step plan for prediction markets. Code SELECTPROP takes 30% off every plan.
Suits
FX and CFD traders who want static drawdown, no minimum days, an on demand first payout and low prices, with futures, equities and prediction markets on the same dashboard.
Less suited to
You want refunds and resets.
Pros
- One Step and Two Step use a static drawdown that never trails.
- No minimum trading days and no time limit on the FX and CFD challenges.
- The first payout on a funded challenge account can be requested as soon as it is in profit.
- Low entry prices, from $29.99, and 30% off every plan with code SELECTPROP.
- FX, CFDs, futures, equities and prediction markets on one dashboard, with DXtrade, Match Trader, cTrader and PropX.
Cons
- Launched in 2026, so there is no long payout record yet.
- Purchases are not refunded and accounts cannot be reset.
- Lock Upon Payout raises the drawdown floor to the starting balance after the first payout unless the Remove Lock add on is chosen.
- The 90% split and bi weekly payouts are paid add ons.
Verdict
TradePath gets the basics right for FX and CFD traders. The One Step and Two Step challenges use a static drawdown that never trails, there are no minimum trading days and no time limit, and news is only off limits for three minutes either side of a release. Weekend holding is allowed on challenge accounts, and once funded the first payout can be requested as soon as the account is in profit, with requests processed in 24 to 48 business hours.
Pricing is competitive. A $100K One Step lists at $759.99 and the Two Step at $459.99, and SELECTPROP brings those down to $531.99 and $321.99. Traders can also tailor an account with add ons, such as a 90% split, bi weekly payouts, an 8% target or Payout Protector, which keeps the gains on a funded account through a breach.
The range is wider than most firms of its size. Alongside FX and CFDs there are futures plans on DXFutures, Tickblaze, Rithmic and Volumetrica, equities on PropX with direct Nasdaq pricing, and prediction market accounts, all under one dashboard.
A few points are worth knowing before buying. TradePath launched in 2026, so it does not have a long payout history yet, and it plans to publish its payout record from the first payout. Lock Upon Payout is on by default, which fixes the drawdown floor at the starting balance after the first withdrawal unless the Remove Lock add on is chosen. Purchases are not refunded and accounts are not reset.
TradePath suits FX and CFD traders who want simple, static drawdown rules, quick access to a first payout and room to try other markets, at a low entry price.
