Prop Firm Black Friday Deals

Black Friday falls on the Friday after US Thanksgiving, at the end of November, and Cyber Monday follows three days later. Many prop firms run sales around these dates, and some start earlier in November and continue through Cyber Monday.

This year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals will be listed on this page as firms announce them.

How prop firm Black Friday sales work

Prop firm sales tend to follow a few common patterns, and some firms combine several of them in one offer.

  • Percentage discount codes. A code takes a percentage off the challenge fee, sometimes with a larger discount on bigger accounts or on a particular program.
  • Bonus accounts. Buying one challenge brings a second account free, or buying a larger account adds a smaller one.
  • Free retries. A failed attempt can be taken again at no cost, usually once and within a set period.
  • Improved terms. A higher profit split, a fee refund or a faster first payout is added to challenges bought during the sale.
  • Timed offers. Discounts that change by the day or the hour, or that apply only to a set number of buyers.

How to judge a deal

A discount only has value if the program suits your trading. Work through these checks in order.

  1. Start with the rules. Check the profit target, the daily and maximum loss, how drawdown is measured and any restrictions on your strategy. A large discount on a program whose rules do not fit your trading is not a saving.
  2. Compare the price per $1,000 of allocation. Divide the discounted fee by the account size in thousands. A $100,000 account at $400 costs $4 per $1,000, while a $10,000 account at $60 costs $6 per $1,000. This shows which discounted program gives the most allocation for the money.
  3. Compare against regular prices elsewhere. A discounted challenge can still cost more than another firm’s normal price for similar rules.
  4. Check which programs qualify. Codes often exclude certain programs, account sizes, extras or resets.
  5. Check the expiry and any activation deadline. Some sale accounts must be started within a set period after purchase, and unused accounts may expire.
  6. Check that the rules are the same. Confirm that the discounted account carries the same rules, profit split and payout terms as the full price version.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Buying more accounts than you can trade. Several discounted challenges bought at once can expire before you use them, and trading many accounts at the same time makes risk harder to manage.
  • Choosing a firm for the discount alone. The firm’s payout record, rules and Trustpilot rating matter more than the size of the code.
  • Buying a larger account than your plan supports. A discount on a $200,000 account does not change the dollar size of its loss limits.
  • Assuming codes can be combined. Firms usually allow one code per order, so check before paying.
  • Ignoring the refund terms. If the fee is refunded with the first payout, check whether the refund is the amount you paid or the full list price.
  • Letting a countdown timer decide. Read the rules before paying, whatever the timer says.

Before you buy

Check each firm’s profile for its programs, rules and Trustpilot rating, and use the comparison table to line up programs of the same size. Prop firm challenge cost covers the full cost of getting funded, and ten questions to ask before buying a challenge covers the checks to make. The lists of challenges under $100 and $100K accounts help you compare regular prices before a sale starts.
