Upcomers review
Upcomers is a prop firm run by Upcomers Ltd in Saint Lucia and Royal Flow FZCO in Dubai, led by Jakub Zeliska, with a very large range across CFDs, futures, perpetuals and prediction markets. Its CFD challenges include Ash (a half step with a 2% target), Thunderbolt (one step, 5%), Phoenix (two step, 4% and 4%) and a set of instant accounts, from $5,000 up to $1.5 million on MT5, TradeLocker, Match-Trader, cTrader and its own platform. The split is 90% by default, adjustable to 80% or 100%, with no time limit or minimum days. Be aware: Trustpilot has removed the firm's rating over a guideline breach, crypto payouts carry a $19.90 plus 30% fee, payouts are capped and rise slowly over the first seven, and a discretionary reset caps all future payouts on that account at 50%.
Suits
Traders who want very low profit targets, no minimum days and account sizes up to $1.5M, and accept capped payouts.
Less suited to
You want free or low fee crypto payouts, uncapped early withdrawals, or rely on independent review scores.
Pros
- Very low targets: 2% on Ash, 5% on Thunderbolt.
- No time limit and no minimum days on Classic plans.
- Sizes up to $1.5M, split 80% to 100%.
- Five platforms including MT5 and cTrader.
Cons
- Red flag: Trustpilot has removed the firm's rating over a guideline breach.
- Red flag: crypto payouts cost $19.90 plus 30%; bank $19.90 plus 2.49%.
- Red flag: a discretionary reset caps all future payouts on that account at 50%.
- Payout caps rise slowly over the first seven payouts.
- Prices shown only at checkout.
Verdict
Upcomers stands out for low targets and choice. Ash needs just 2% to pass, Thunderbolt 5% and Phoenix two lots of 4%, with no time limit, no minimum days and leverage of 1:100. Account sizes reach $1.5 million, the split can be set from 80% to 100% at checkout, and after three fully approved payouts traders can claim 200% of the challenge fee.
The payout terms take a lot back. Payouts are capped and rise over the first seven (on a $100K account from $1,000 to $7,500), bank payouts cost $19.90 plus 2.49%, and crypto payouts $19.90 plus 30% unless most of your purchases were in crypto. If the risk team resets an account for a rule breach, every later payout on it is capped at 50%. Funded accounts also cap single trade losses at 3% and best days at 20%.
Red flags: Trustpilot has removed the firm's rating for a guideline breach, and new reviews in November 2026 report banned accounts and first payouts cut by 75%. The site shows Feefo and Google ratings rather than Trustpilot.
Upcomers may suit traders who value low targets and huge account sizes and accept capped, fee heavy payouts, but traders should read the payout articles before buying.
