E8 Markets Perpetuals rules in full

Max DD Type

E8 One: dynamic drawdown that rises with the highest closed balance and locks permanently at the initial balance (site default 6%, e.g. $6,000 on 100K; help centre preset 4%). E8 Pro: 8% static drawdown from the initial balance, moved to the initial balance after the first payout.

Daily DD Type

E8 One: calculated from the starting balance of the day (site default $4,000 on 100K; help centre preset 3%). E8 Pro: 2.5% of initial balance.

News Trading

E8 One: unrestricted in the challenge; in the funded (Performance) stage no trading 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after high impact news. E8 Pro: help centre states no news restrictions (article refers to E8 Pro Forex).

EAs/Copy

EAs allowed if not shared across multiple users. Copy trading allowed only between the trader's own accounts. Hedging only within a single account; perpetual accounts use a netting system, so opposite positions on one instrument net off.

Holding Restrictions

Overnight and weekend holding allowed on E8 One and E8 Pro.

Consistency Rule

E8 One: none in the challenge; 40% best day rule in the funded stage. E8 Pro: none.

Minimum Trading Days

None; E8 One can be passed in one day. E8 Pro counts at most 2% of initial balance per day towards target and profit (daily profit cap).

Time Limit

Unlimited; at least one trade must be placed and closed every 60 days.

Leverage

Perpetual futures (E8 One and E8 Pro): Bitcoin 1:15, Ethereum 1:15, other crypto 1:2, stocks 1:5, indices 1:15, metals 1:15, FX 1:25, energy 1:15. Same in challenge and funded stages. The symbols page separately shows each market's venue maximum on Hyperliquid (e.g. BTC 40x), which is not the account leverage.

Commissions

Symbols page fees for crypto perpetuals: 0.045% taker and 0.015% maker; stocks 0.003% / 0.009%. Funding rates shown per market.

Fees

One time challenge fee; no activation fee. No payout fee charged by E8 (processor fees may apply). cTrader carries an extra $10 on accounts under $100 (Classic Markets note).

E8 Markets Perpetuals review

Rules and prices checked on 28 September 2026 against E8 Markets Perpetuals’s own website and terms.

E8 Markets Perpetuals is the perpetual futures version of the simulated trading challenges run by E8 Markets, which is operated by E8 Funding LLC, based in Dallas, Texas, and founded in 2021. The perpetuals market uses a Hyperliquid price feed and lists 229 instruments, of which 141 are crypto perpetuals, alongside tokenised stocks, indices, metals, energy and FX. Two one step products are offered. E8 One is the configurable option: on the site's default setting a $100,000 account costs $488 before discounts, asks for a $9,000 target and carries a $6,000 dynamic drawdown and a $4,000 daily drawdown, with list prices from $48 for $5,000 to $1,998 for $500,000. Funded E8 One accounts apply a 40% best day rule, and payouts are on demand once it is met, with the first possible after about three days. E8 Pro uses an 8% target, an 8% static drawdown, a 2.5% daily drawdown and a 2% daily profit cap, and pays daily with no consistency rule or payout cap. Leverage on perpetuals is 1:15 for Bitcoin and Ethereum and 1:2 for other crypto. The default payout share is 80%. The E8 Terminal is the platform built for this market, and payouts go through Rise, WorkMarket or, for US clients, Aeropay.

Suits

Crypto traders who focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum and want a configurable one step challenge with 24/7 access.

Less suited to

You trade altcoins at size and need more than 1:2 leverage, or you want to hold long and short positions on the same market.

Pros

  • The perpetuals market lists 229 instruments on a Hyperliquid feed, including 141 crypto perpetuals.
  • Both products are one step and allow overnight and weekend holding.
  • E8 One can be passed in a single day and offers on demand payouts once the best day rule is met.
  • E8 Pro has no consistency rule or payout cap and allows a payout request every day.
  • E8 Markets has operated since 2021 and publishes detailed rules in its help centre.

Cons

  • Leverage on crypto other than Bitcoin and Ethereum is capped at 1:2.
  • E8 One funded accounts apply a 40% best day rule and ban trading five minutes either side of high impact news.
  • E8 Pro releases only half of profit at each request and counts at most 2% of profit a day.
  • Perpetual accounts use netting, so long and short positions cannot be held on the same instrument.
  • Trustpilot shows no score for E8 Markets, citing a breach of its guidelines.

Verdict

E8 Markets Perpetuals offers a wide list of Hyperliquid perpetual markets, including many smaller tokens and tokenised stocks, inside a one step challenge that allows overnight and weekend holding. E8 Markets has operated since 2021, and its help centre documents the rules in detail.

Leverage is the main limit for crypto traders. Bitcoin and Ethereum get 1:15, but every other crypto perpetual is capped at 1:2, so trading altcoins at meaningful size requires a large account. Perpetual accounts also use a netting system, so a long and a short cannot be held on the same instrument at the same time.

The two products suit different styles. E8 One allows a one day pass and on demand payouts, but a 40% best day rule applies once funded, each payout must exceed half of the daily drawdown, and funded traders must stay out of the market for five minutes either side of high impact news. E8 Pro drops the consistency rule and pays daily, but only half of profit can be withdrawn at each request, a 2% daily profit cap limits how quickly profit is counted, and the static drawdown moves up to the starting balance after the first payout.

Trustpilot shows no score for E8 Markets, citing a breach of its guidelines, and lists 3,298 reviews.

The program suits crypto traders who focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum, want 24/7 access and prefer a configurable one step challenge. It is a weaker fit for altcoin traders who need higher leverage.

Questions about E8 Markets Perpetuals

What exchange does E8 Markets Perpetuals use?

Perpetual accounts run on a Hyperliquid price feed inside E8's simulated environment, so no orders are placed on the exchange itself. The symbol list shows 229 perpetual markets, including 141 crypto assets such as BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and HYPE, plus tokenised stocks, indices, metals, energy and FX. The E8 Terminal is E8's own platform built for this market.

How much does an E8 perpetuals challenge cost?

On the default E8 One setting, with a 6% dynamic drawdown and an 80% payout share, list prices run from $48 for a $5,000 account to $1,998 for $500,000, with $488 for $100,000. The configurator lets traders change the drawdown and payout share, which changes the price. The fee is paid once by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto, and there is no activation fee.

What leverage does E8 offer on crypto perpetuals?

On both E8 One and E8 Pro perpetual accounts, Bitcoin and Ethereum are available at 1:15, while all other crypto perpetuals are limited to 1:2. Other markets on the same feed carry 1:5 on stocks, 1:15 on indices, metals and energy, and 1:25 on FX. Leverage stays the same in the challenge and funded stages.

What are the E8 One perpetual rules?

On the site's default setting, a $100,000 E8 One account has a $9,000 profit target, a $6,000 dynamic drawdown that rises with closed profit and locks at the starting balance, and a $4,000 daily drawdown. There is no minimum number of days, and at least one trade must be closed every 60 days. Once funded, a 40% best day rule applies to payouts.

How do E8 perpetuals payouts work?

E8 One payouts are on demand once the 40% best day rule is met, with the first possible after about three days, and the payout must exceed half of the daily drawdown. E8 Pro allows a request every day after 1% profit, paying out half of profit and keeping half as a buffer. The minimum payout is $100, sent through Rise, WorkMarket or Aeropay.

Is E8 Markets legit?

E8 Markets is operated by E8 Funding LLC, is based in Dallas, Texas, and was founded in 2021. It describes itself as a simulated trading platform rather than a broker and takes no customer deposits. As of September 2026, its Trustpilot page lists 3,298 reviews but shows no score, with a notice that the rating is unavailable due to a breach of guidelines.
