Rules at a Glance

Loss limits are a share of the starting balance. Breaking either limit ends the account.

Program Type Account sizes Profit split Profit target Daily loss limit Max loss limit From
1V One-Phase 1 Step 2.5K to 100K 90% 10% 3% 8% static $30

Volt Funded rules in full

Max DD Type

Static, measured from the starting balance: 8% on the 1V One-Phase and 10% on the 2V Two-Phase. On a $10,000 2V account the equity floor stays at $9,000.

Daily DD Type

3% on the 1V One-Phase and 4% on the 2V Two-Phase, measured from the equity at the start of the day (balance plus floating profit or loss at the reset). Closed and floating losses, swaps and commissions all count. Resets at 00:00 EET (UTC+2), or EEST (UTC+3) in summer.

News Trading

No opening or closing positions within 2 minutes either side of a major or high impact release on the FXStreet calendar. A first breach is minor and may cost the profit from those trades; two minor breaches count as a major breach, which closes the account.

EAs/Copy

Expert advisors are not allowed. Third party copy trading is prohibited, as are high frequency and tick scalping, arbitrage, gap trading, hedging across accounts, martingale and grid systems. Hedging within one account and stacking entries in the same direction are allowed.

Holding Restrictions

Positions can be held overnight and over the weekend, but opening a new position during the weekend is a violation.

Consistency Rule

40% on the 1V One-Phase challenge and on all funded accounts: no single trading day may make up more than 40% of total profit. If the best day is too large, the profit needed rises (a $1,000 best day means $2,500 of total profit). It resets after each payout. The 2V Two-Phase challenge has no consistency rule.

Minimum Trading Days

5 trading days in each phase, and 5 trading days before a payout.

Time Limit

No time limit, but the account must trade at least once every 30 days or it closes.

Leverage

1:30 on the 1V One-Phase and up to 1:100 on the 2V Two-Phase.

Commissions

$5 per lot round turn on forex and $7 per lot on metals; no commission on indices, oil or crypto. Spreads from 0.0 pips.

Volt Funded review

Rules and prices checked on 5 November 2026 against Volt Funded’s own website and terms.

Volt Funded is a forex and CFD prop firm that opened to traders worldwide on 7 August 2026. It is run by Parlance Trading Ltd, a licensed brokerage company, which gives it established backing from day one. The offer is deliberately simple. Traders pay a one time fee for a MetaTrader 5 challenge and choose between two models. The 1V One-Phase asks for a single 10% target, with a 3% daily loss limit and an 8% maximum loss, at 1:30 leverage. The 2V Two-Phase asks for 8% then 5%, with a 4% daily loss limit and a 10% maximum loss, at up to 1:100. Both come in seven sizes from $2,500 to $100,000, with fees starting at just $30, and the maximum loss on both is static, so it never trails the balance. There is no time limit, only 5 trading days are needed per phase, and funded accounts pay a 90% profit split from the very first payout without an add on. Trading costs are low, with no commission on indices, oil or crypto, and human support is available 24/5. The firm says it had paid funded traders more than $288,000 by September 2026. Like most firms, it has a few rules to know: expert advisors are not allowed, positions must be flat 2 minutes either side of high impact news, and a 40% consistency rule applies to the 1V challenge and to funded accounts. Volt Funded is not open to residents of the US, Canada, the UK, the European Union or Japan.

Suits

Manual MT5 traders who want a low cost one or two phase challenge with static drawdown, no time limit and a 90% split from the first payout.

Less suited to

Volt Funded may not suit you if you trade with expert advisors or live in the US, Canada, the UK or the EU.

Pros

  • Challenge fees start at $30, among the lowest in the market.
  • The maximum loss is static on both challenges and never trails the balance.
  • Funded accounts pay a 90% profit split from the first payout, with no add on to buy.
  • There is no time limit, and only 5 trading days are needed per phase.
  • Run by an established, licensed brokerage company.
  • No commission on indices, oil or crypto, and human support 24/5.

Cons

  • Expert advisors are not allowed.
  • A 40% consistency rule applies on funded accounts and in the 1V One-Phase challenge.
  • Payout schedule and minimum are shown in the platform rather than on the public site.
  • Not available in the US, Canada, the UK or the EU.

Verdict

Volt Funded gets the fundamentals right. Both challenges use a static maximum loss, which is easier to manage than the trailing drawdowns many newer firms use, there is no time limit, and the 90% profit split applies from the first payout rather than being sold as an upgrade. Pricing is among the most competitive in the market, from $30 for a $2,500 account to $300 for $50,000 on the 2V Two-Phase, and the launch codes on its site cut that further. Being run by an established, licensed brokerage company also sets it apart from most new entrants. The 2V Two-Phase is the more forgiving choice, with a 4% daily limit, a 10% maximum loss, leverage up to 1:100 and no consistency rule during the challenge. The 1V One-Phase suits traders who want a single step to funding and are comfortable with a 3% daily limit. The main things to plan around are the ban on expert advisors and the 40% consistency rule on funded accounts, which rewards steady results over one big day. Payout terms are lighter on detail than some rivals, with the schedule shown inside the platform rather than on the public site. For manual traders outside the US, UK and EU who want a low cost challenge with clear, static limits and a top tier split, Volt Funded is a strong new option.

Questions about Volt Funded

Is Volt Funded a legitimate prop firm?

Yes. Volt Funded is run by Parlance Trading Ltd (company HY00423015), which holds a brokerage licence from the Mwali International Services Authority in the Comoros. Like other prop firms, Volt Funded itself is not regulated by a financial authority. It launched in August 2026 and says it had paid funded traders more than $288,000 by September 2026.

How much does a Volt Funded challenge cost?

The 1V One-Phase costs $30, $55, $105, $210, $330, $420 and $550 for the $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000, $75,000 and $100,000 accounts. The 2V Two-Phase costs $30, $50, $95, $200, $300, $390 and $520 for the same sizes. Each is a one time fee with no subscription, and a plan cannot be upgraded or downgraded after purchase. The site currently advertises launch codes VOLT50 (50% off a first challenge) and TRYVOLT (30% off plus a free challenge).

What are the Volt Funded loss limits?

The 1V One-Phase has a 3% daily loss limit and an 8% maximum loss. The 2V Two-Phase has a 4% daily loss limit and a 10% maximum loss. The maximum loss is static, measured from the starting balance. The daily limit is measured from the equity at the start of each day, resets at midnight Eastern European time and counts floating losses, swaps and commissions.

Does Volt Funded have a consistency rule?

Yes, on the 1V One-Phase challenge and on all funded accounts: no single trading day may make up more than 40% of total profit. If one day is too large, the profit needed to pass or to request a payout rises until that day is 40% or less of the total. The rule resets after each payout. The 2V Two-Phase challenge has no consistency rule.

How do Volt Funded payouts work?

Funded accounts pay a 90% profit split from the first payout. A payout can be requested once the account is at least 7 days old and has 5 trading days, with no open positions, and ID verification is required first. After that, payouts follow the schedule shown in the trader platform. The firm describes withdrawals as crypto where available and does not publish a minimum payout. It says it had paid funded traders more than $288,000 by September 2026.

Can I use an EA or trade the news with Volt Funded?

Expert advisors are not allowed, and neither is third party copy trading. News trading is allowed except within 2 minutes either side of a major or high impact release on the FXStreet calendar. A first breach is treated as minor, but two minor breaches close the account.

Which countries can't use Volt Funded?

Volt Funded does not accept residents of the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, the European Union, North Korea, Myanmar, Azerbaijan, Syria, Sudan and Cuba, or anywhere the service would break local law.
