E8 Futures review

Rules and prices checked on 1 October 2026 against E8 Futures’s own website and terms.

E8 Futures is the futures business of E8 Markets, a simulated trading firm operated by E8 Funding LLC in Dallas, Texas, which was founded in 2021. It sells two one step products on Tradovate. E8 Signature costs $120 to $450 for $25K to $150K accounts and has a 6% target that can be reached in a single day. Once funded it pays 80%, subject to a 35% best day rule, five profitable days between payouts, a buffer equal to the drawdown and per request caps of $1,000 to $3,500 on accounts bought from 1 October 2026. E8 Zero comes as Starter ($178 to $558) and Max ($328 to $1,088) on $50K to $200K accounts. It applies a 40% best day rule in the challenge only, then allows daily payouts from $100 with no consistency rule, and traders can choose an 80% or 100% share, with the higher share costing more. Both products use an end of day drawdown of 3% or 4% that locks at the starting balance on funded accounts, and each funded account closes after its last permitted payout, the fifth on E8 Zero and the fourth on Signature accounts bought from 1 October 2026, and is replaced with a free challenge of the same size. There is no activation fee. News trading is allowed, automated trading is not, and positions must be closed by 15:10 CT.

Suits

Manual futures day traders who want daily payouts, no activation fee and the option of a 100% profit share.

Less suited to

You trade with automation, want one funded account to keep running beyond four or five payouts, or live in one of the many restricted countries.

Pros

  • There is no activation fee, no subscription and no time limit on any futures challenge.
  • E8 Zero funded accounts allow daily payouts from $100 with no consistency rule or minimum days.
  • E8 Zero offers a 100% profit share in exchange for a higher upfront price.
  • E8 Signature can be passed in one day, and its daily pause does not fail the account.
  • News trading is allowed on both products, in the challenge and once funded.

Cons

  • Each funded account is closed after five payouts, or four on E8 Signature accounts bought from 1 October 2026, and replaced with a free challenge of the same size.
  • Payout caps are modest on E8 Zero Starter, at $1,000 to $2,100 per request.
  • Automated trading is banned, and at least half of profit must come from trades held for 10 seconds or more.
  • Futures accounts with no trade for seven days are closed, and positions must be closed by 15:10 CT.
  • More than 80 countries are restricted for futures, including Nigeria, the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates.

Verdict

E8 Futures keeps its product range small and its pricing clear. There is no activation fee, no subscription and no time limit, and E8 Zero lets traders raise the profit share from 80% to 100% by paying more upfront. Once funded, E8 Zero is simple: no consistency rule, no minimum days and a payout request on any day with at least $100 of new profit. E8 Signature is cheaper to enter and can be passed in a day, and its daily pause stops trading for the session rather than failing the account.

The limits are in the payout mechanics. Each funded account closes after its last permitted payout, the fifth on E8 Zero and the fourth on Signature accounts bought from 1 October 2026, and profit left in the account from earlier cycles cannot be withdrawn later, so the per request caps matter: $1,000 to $2,100 on Zero Starter, $3,000 to $7,000 on Zero Max and $1,000 to $3,500 on Signature. The drawdown locks at the starting balance after the first payout, so a large withdrawal leaves little room to trade. Automated trading is banned, at least half of profit must come from trades held for 10 seconds or more, only the front month contract may be traded, and a futures account with no trade for seven days is closed.

Trustpilot shows no rating for E8 Markets because of a guideline breach, and that page covers every E8 market. The futures restricted list runs to more than 80 countries and territories, including Nigeria, the Philippines, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.

E8 Futures suits manual intraday traders who want daily payouts or the option of a full profit share and accept a limit of four or five payouts per account. It is a poor fit for algorithmic traders and for residents of the restricted countries.

Payouts

Payout

  1. 35% Best Day rule – With a 35% best-day rule, you must ensure that no single trading day exceeds more than 35% of your total generated profits.

Questions about E8 Futures

How much does E8 Futures cost?

E8 Signature costs a one time $120, $160, $280 or $450 for $25K to $150K accounts. E8 Zero Starter costs $178 to $558 and E8 Zero Max $328 to $1,088 for $50K to $200K accounts with an 80% share, or $228 to $708 and $428 to $1,418 with a 100% share. There is no activation fee, and a failed account can be restarted at 10% off within seven days.

What drawdown does E8 Futures use?

Both products use an end of day dynamic drawdown that rises only with closed profit at the end of each day. It is 3% on E8 Zero and on $100K and $150K Signature accounts, and 4% on $25K and $50K Signature accounts. On funded accounts it locks at the starting balance once profit equals the drawdown or at the first payout. In the E8 Zero challenge it keeps trailing.

How do E8 Futures payouts work?

E8 Zero funded accounts can request a payout on any day with at least $100 of new profit, up to a cap of $1,000 to $7,000 depending on version and size. E8 Signature needs a 35% best day score, five profitable days between payouts and a buffer equal to the drawdown, with caps of $1,000 to $3,500 on accounts bought from 1 October 2026. E8 Zero accounts close after five payouts and those Signature accounts after four, and payments go through Rise, WorkMarket or Aeropay.

Is there a consistency rule at E8 Futures?

E8 Zero applies a 40% best day rule in the challenge only: if one day exceeds 40% of the target, the target rises until that day is 40% of the total. Once funded, E8 Zero has no consistency rule. E8 Signature has none in the challenge but applies a 35% best day rule before each payout, calculated on profit made since the previous payout.

Can I trade news or use bots at E8 Futures?

News trading is allowed on E8 Zero and E8 Signature, in the challenge and on funded accounts, although the firm warns about slippage. Semi automated and fully automated trading, including bots, AI tools and high frequency trading, is prohibited on futures. Copy trading between the trader's own accounts is allowed, but hedging across accounts and signal services are not.

Which platforms and markets does E8 Futures offer?

Futures accounts run on Tradovate. The futures site also lists NinjaTrader, and the help centre explains how to connect TradingView. Tradable contracts include CME equity index, currency and livestock futures, NYMEX energy, COMEX metals and CBOT grain, interest rate and Dow futures. Traders must use the front month contract, and positions are closed automatically at 15:10 CT each day.
