Alpha Futures review
Alpha Futures is a futures prop firm run by Alpha Futures Limited, a company registered in Harpenden, England, and part of the same group as Alpha Capital. It sells three evaluation plans on a monthly subscription that stops once the trader passes, plus a Direct account that skips the evaluation for a one time fee. Zero costs $89 to $279 a month for 25K to 100K accounts, has no evaluation consistency rule and can be passed in one day. Standard costs $129 to $349 a month for 50K to 150K accounts with a 50% evaluation consistency rule, while Advanced costs $209 to $489 a month with larger profit targets and a 40% rule. Direct costs $349 to $859. No plan charges an activation fee on accounts bought after 8 July 2026, and qualified accounts carry no monthly fee. The Maximum Loss Limit is end of day trailing on every account and stops trailing at the starting balance. Qualified accounts pay 90% of each withdrawal, with up to four requests a month and caps from $1,000 to $5,000 per request, or $15,000 on Advanced. After a platform transition in 2026, the firm states that approved payouts are paid within five business days.
Suits
Manual futures day traders who want end of day drawdown, no activation fee and, on the Advanced plan, withdrawals of up to $15,000 per request.
Less suited to
You rely on automated strategies, prefer a one time evaluation fee, or live in a restricted country such as China, the Philippines or Nigeria.
Pros
- The Maximum Loss Limit is end of day trailing on every account and stops trailing at the starting balance.
- No plan charges an activation fee on accounts bought after 8 July 2026, and qualified accounts carry no monthly fee.
- Advanced qualified accounts have no consistency rule, no daily loss guard and a cap of $15,000 per request.
- A withdrawal does not move the Maximum Loss Limit, so the cushion built before a payout is kept.
- Round trip costs are $4.78 on ES and NQ and $1.32 on the micro contracts, including exchange and NFA fees.
Cons
- Evaluations are billed monthly until passed, so a slow evaluation costs more than the first month's price.
- Each request is limited to 50% of account profit, and Zero caps are only $1,000 to $2,500.
- Bots, AI and other fully automated trading are prohibited on every account type.
- The firm reported slower payouts after a 2026 platform transition and was still clearing pending Premium payouts in September 2026.
- The restricted list covers 61 countries, including China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Nigeria and Turkey.
Verdict
Alpha Futures offers a clear choice of structures. Zero has the lowest entry price, with no evaluation consistency rule and a one day minimum, but its caps are small at $1,000 to $2,500 per request and its qualified accounts carry a daily loss guard, a 40% consistency rule and a news window. Standard raises the caps to $3,000 to $5,000 and drops the daily loss guard during the evaluation. Advanced asks for larger profit targets relative to its drawdown, yet once qualified it has no consistency rule, no daily loss guard, no news restriction and a cap of $15,000 per request. The drawdown stays end of day on every account and a withdrawal does not move it, so traders keep the cushion they have built.
The monthly billing is the main cost point. An evaluation that runs past a month rebills at the full price, although the subscription stops on passing. Each request is also limited to 50% of account profit, and accounts that come through an evaluation need five winning days of $200 or more between requests.
Recent operations also matter. In September 2026 the firm said a platform transition had slowed payouts, that approved standard payouts now take five business days or less, and that it had refunded active Premium accounts while clearing pending Premium payouts in batches. Fully automated trading is banned, positions must be closed by 4:20 pm ET, and the restricted list of 61 countries includes China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Nigeria and Turkey.
Alpha Futures suits manual intraday traders who want end of day drawdown and, on Advanced, larger single withdrawals. It is a poor fit for traders who run bots or want a fixed one time evaluation price.

Questions about Alpha Futures
How much does Alpha Futures cost?
Evaluations are billed monthly until the trader passes or cancels. Zero costs $89, $139 or $279 a month for 25K, 50K or 100K, Standard costs $129, $239 or $349 for 50K, 100K or 150K, and Advanced costs $209, $349 or $489. The Direct account, which skips the evaluation, is a one time fee of $349 to $859. Evaluation resets cost $79 to $449 depending on plan and size.
Does Alpha Futures charge an activation fee?
No activation fee applies to Zero, Standard or Direct accounts, and Advanced accounts bought after 8 July 2026 also have none. Advanced accounts bought before that date carried a one time $149 fee. The monthly evaluation subscription ends once the trader passes, and qualified accounts carry no monthly fee. Traders must complete KYC and sign the qualified contract within 30 days of passing.
What drawdown does Alpha Futures use?
Every account uses an end of day trailing Maximum Loss Limit. It follows the highest end of day balance and stops trailing at the starting balance, so a 50K Zero account has its limit fixed at $50,000 once the end of day balance reaches $52,000. The breach itself is checked in real time against open equity, and a withdrawal does not move the limit.
How do Alpha Futures payouts work?
Qualified accounts pay 90% of each withdrawal, with up to four requests a month. On Zero, Standard and Advanced, a request needs five winning days of $200 or more since the last one and can be up to 50% of account profit. Caps are $1,000 to $2,500 on Zero, $3,000 to $5,000 on Standard and $15,000 on Advanced. Methods are ACH, SWIFT wire, Wise and Rise.
Does Alpha Futures have a consistency rule?
Yes, and it varies by plan. In the evaluation, Zero has none, Standard applies 50% and Advanced applies 40%, measured as the best day against total net profit. Once qualified, Zero and Standard apply 40% and Direct applies 20%, measured since the last withdrawal request. Advanced qualified accounts have no consistency rule. Breaking the qualified rule delays a payout but does not breach the account.
Can I use bots or trade copiers at Alpha Futures?
Fully automated trading, including AI and bots, is prohibited on every account type. Semi automated tools such as signal indicators are allowed if the trader places and manages each trade manually. Copying trades across a trader's own accounts is permitted, but hedging across accounts, group trading, tick scalping patterns and strategies above 100 trades a day are not. A VPS is allowed, but a VPN is not.
