Darwinex Zero review
Darwinex Zero is not an evaluation based prop firm. It is a subscription service run by Tradeslide Technologies Ltd in London, an introducer appointed representative of the FCA regulated broker Darwinex. Members pay a monthly fee, trade a virtual account and let Darwinex technology turn their track record into an investable index called a DARWIN. There is no profit target, no daily loss limit and no account breach. The DARWIN is created after 25 risk equivalent trading decisions over at least 15 trading days, and it then competes each month in DarwinIA, a seed capital programme. In DarwinIA SILVER, DARWINs with a Rating of 75 or more receive notional allocations of €30,000 to €375,000 for three months. DARWINs with more than eight months of history and strong return to drawdown move to GOLD, where allocations reach €500,000 for six months and real investors can invest. Traders earn a 15% performance fee on profits from these allocations, measured against a high water mark. Outside Europe and the UK, membership costs $50 a month for forex and CFD, stock or crypto accounts, or $56 for futures, with yearly and three year plans at lower monthly rates. Forex and CFD accounts start with $100,000 in virtual equity and futures accounts with $1 million.
Suits
Patient forex, futures and stock traders who want to build a verified, investable track record and can pay a monthly fee while allocations build up.
Less suited to
Avoid Darwinex Zero if you want a large funded account and a profit split soon after passing a one off challenge.
Pros
- There is no profit target, no daily or overall loss limit and no account breach.
- DARWINs that reach DarwinIA GOLD are opened to real investor capital through Darwinex, which is FCA regulated.
- Earned performance fees can be withdrawn from €100 and are typically processed within 24 hours.
- Forex and CFD accounts come with $100,000 in virtual equity and futures accounts with $1 million.
- MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and TradingView are supported, with futures, cash stocks and crypto CFDs on MT5.
Cons
- Earnings are a 15% performance fee on allocated capital, not a share of the trading account's profit.
- The membership fee is charged every month whether or not the DARWIN receives an allocation.
- Allocations depend on monthly rankings and a Rating of at least 75, so capital is not guaranteed each month.
- Performance fees are paid quarterly by default, and monthly payment costs an extra $13 a month.
- Restarting an account costs from $50 and removes any Permanent Allocation already received.
Verdict
Darwinex Zero suits a different trader from the typical challenge buyer. There is no target to hit and nothing to fail, so the cost is a steady monthly fee rather than a one off challenge price, and the reward depends on how the DARWIN performs once allocations arrive. The model has clear strengths. Traders are not stopped out by daily or overall loss limits, trading style is not restricted, and a DARWIN that reaches GOLD is opened to real investor capital through Darwinex, which holds asset management licences from the FCA and Spain's CNMV. Earned fees are also simple to collect: they can be withdrawn from €100 by bank transfer and are typically processed within 24 hours. The limits are just as clear. Income is a 15% performance fee on notional allocations rather than a share of the trading account's profit, so a €30,000 SILVER allocation that gains 10% over a quarter pays €450. Allocations depend on monthly rankings and a Rating of at least 75, fees are paid quarterly by default against a high water mark, and allocations follow the DARWIN's risk adjusted return rather than the raw account return. Optional Boosters and Permanent Allocations add notional capital for a fee, and the membership keeps running whether or not the DARWIN earns anything. Trustpilot shows a rating of 4.2 from 386 reviews. Darwinex Zero fits patient traders who want a verified, investable track record and are willing to pay monthly while it builds, rather than traders looking for a quick funded account.
Payouts
15% performance fee on profits generated for investors (DarwinIA seed + third-party investors). Not a traditional profit split model. | Performance fee paid when investor allocations generate profit. Two sources: DarwinIA monthly seed allocation (top strategies receive capital each month) and unlimited third-party investor capital. No minimum withdrawal.

Questions about Darwinex Zero
Is Darwinex Zero a prop firm?
Not in the usual sense. Darwinex Zero sells a monthly membership rather than a challenge. Members trade a virtual account, their track record becomes an investable index called a DARWIN, and that index competes for notional capital allocations each month. Traders earn a 15% performance fee on profits from those allocations, and on real investor capital once the DARWIN reaches DarwinIA GOLD.
How much does Darwinex Zero cost?
Outside Europe and the UK, membership costs $50 a month for forex and CFD, stock and ETF, or crypto CFD accounts, and $56 for futures including a $6 data fee. Yearly plans cost $480 and three year plans $1,260, or $552 and $1,476 for futures. In Europe and the UK the monthly price is €45, or €50 for futures. Account restarts cost from $50.
How do payouts work at Darwinex Zero?
Traders earn 15% of the profits generated on allocated capital, measured against a high water mark. By default, fees are calculated every three months from the first allocation, or monthly for an extra $13 a month. Once earned, fees can be withdrawn from €100 by bank transfer after identity and bank checks, and withdrawals are typically processed within 24 hours.
What is DarwinIA at Darwinex Zero?
DarwinIA is the monthly seed capital programme. In SILVER, DARWINs with a Rating of 75 or more receive notional allocations from €30,000 to €375,000, held for three months. DARWINs with more than eight months of history and strong return to drawdown enter GOLD, where allocations run from €50,000 to €500,000 for six months and real investors can invest.
Does Darwinex Zero have drawdown limits?
There is no daily or overall loss limit that closes the account. Instead, the Darwinex Risk Engine standardises each DARWIN to a target monthly value at risk of 3.25% to 6.5%, and drawdown affects rankings. The SILVER rating considers maximum loss over the previous six months, and GOLD requires a return to drawdown ratio above 2.5.
What can you trade at Darwinex Zero?
CFD accounts offer 42 forex pairs, 10 indices, gold, silver, oil and natural gas, about 800 US stocks and about 100 US ETFs. Separate accounts cover seven crypto CFDs, CME and Eurex futures, and unleveraged cash US stocks and ETFs. MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and TradingView are available, with crypto, futures and cash stock accounts on MT5 only.
