Crypto Fund Trader review
Crypto Fund Trader is run by SWISS RLCRATES AG from Zug, Switzerland, with MT5 services provided by RLCRATES, S.L. Despite its name, it offers simulated accounts on more than 700 instruments covering crypto, forex, indices, commodities and stocks through MetaTrader 5 and Match Trader, plus crypto futures through a trader's own Bybit account. Three programs are currently on sale. The 2 Phases challenge asks for 8% and then 5%, with a 5% daily loss limit and a 10% static maximum loss, and costs from $58 for $5,000 to $1,250 for $200,000. The 1 Phase challenge asks for 10% with a 4% daily limit and a 6% trailing drawdown that stops at the starting balance, priced from $40 to $1,199. Both pay an 80% split, or 90% with a paid add on. The Instant account costs $125, $240 or $475 for $2,500, $5,000 or $10,000, starts at a 50% split and doubles in size each time it reaches 10% profit, up to $1,280,000. There are no time limits or minimum trading days in the evaluations, and news trading and weekend holding are allowed. Funded traders can request rewards after 15 traded days or every 30 calendar days, and total funded allocation is capped at $300,000.
Suits
Crypto and multi asset traders who want no time limit, freedom to trade news and hold over weekends, and a choice of MT5, Match Trader or Bybit.
Less suited to
Avoid Crypto Fund Trader if you need 1:100 leverage on a small account, want rewards more often than every 15 traded days without paying for an add on, or need MT5 as a US resident.
Pros
- Evaluations have no time limit and no minimum number of trading days.
- News trading and overnight and weekend holding are allowed on all current programs.
- The 2 Phases challenge uses a static 10% maximum loss measured from the starting balance.
- Traders can use MT5, Match Trader or their own Bybit account, with more than 550 crypto pairs.
- The Instant account doubles in size each time it reaches 10% profit, up to $1,280,000.
Cons
- Smaller challenges and Instant accounts are limited to 1:30 leverage on forex and 1:5 on crypto and stocks.
- Simulated profit above $10,000 in one day or one trade is deducted from the account.
- Funded rewards can only be requested after 15 traded days or every 30 calendar days without the paid weekly add on.
- The 90% split and weekly rewards each cost an extra 20% of the challenge price.
- The right to a refund is lost once a position is opened, and MT5 is not available to US residents.
Verdict
Crypto Fund Trader's main appeal is flexibility. The evaluations have no time limit and no minimum trading days, news trading is allowed on all current programs, positions can be held overnight and over weekends, and traders can choose between MT5, Match Trader and Bybit. The 2 Phases challenge uses a static 10% maximum loss, while the 1 Phase trades a lower price for a tighter 6% trailing drawdown that locks once the account is 6% in profit. Crypto traders get more than 550 crypto pairs, and Bybit users trade USDT futures through their own exchange account.
There are several limits to weigh. Leverage of 1:100 applies only to the larger accounts: the smaller challenges and Instant accounts are set at 1:30 on forex and 1:5 on crypto and stocks. Simulated profit above $10,000 in a single day or trade is deducted, which caps returns on large accounts. Funded rewards can only be requested after 15 traded days or every 30 calendar days unless the weekly add on is bought, and the 90% split also costs extra. MT5 is unavailable to US residents, and the right to a refund is lost as soon as a position is opened. The terms also state that the company may, in some circumstances, decline to pay a reward and return the fees instead.
Trustpilot shows no rating for the firm, citing a breach of its guidelines, alongside 1,095 reviews. Crypto Fund Trader suits patient crypto and multi asset traders who want no time pressure and freedom around news, and who are comfortable with a monthly reward cycle.
Payouts
Starts at 50% scaling up to 90% as account grows. Live Stage: 80%. Ascend model: 92%. Post-payout: some users report leverage cap (1% per trade) and $10K daily profit cap imposed by risk team.
Leverage and Commissions

| Stocks | 1:5 | per side (0.002%) |
