Blueberry Funded review
Blueberry Funded is the prop trading brand of the Blueberry group, set up in 2024 as a sister company of the broker Blueberry Markets. Traders are contracted through an entity in St Vincent and the Grenadines, and the firm says it is not a broker; Blueberry Markets supplies the trading infrastructure, and accounts run on MetaTrader 5 or TradeLocker. There are three evaluation routes. Flex 1 Step asks for a 12% target inside a 12% static loss limit and a 3% daily limit, with an 85% split. The standard 1 Step asks for 10% with a 4% daily and 6% overall limit. Prime 2 Step asks for 8% and then 6%, with a 4% daily and 10% overall limit and no cap on risk per trade. List prices run from $37 for a $2,500 Prime account to $1,462 for $200,000, and discount codes are often displayed. Instant Elite and Instant Lite skip the evaluation and cost $42.50 to $2,800. Funded traders keep 80% on most accounts, can request rewards every 14 days from $100, and are paid through Rise, crypto or a Blueberry Markets account. Trading around high impact news is restricted, only self built EAs approved by support are allowed, and residents of the United States, Australia and several sanctioned countries cannot buy an evaluation.
Suits
Traders who want a choice of one step, two step and instant accounts on MetaTrader 5 or TradeLocker, with the option to move rewards into a Blueberry Markets account.
Less suited to
You trade high impact news, rely on commercial EAs, or live in the United States or Australia.
Pros
- Prime 2 Step has a 10% static drawdown with no consistency rule, no lot size limit and no risk per trade cap.
- List prices start at $37 for a $2,500 Prime account and $44 for a $5,000 1 Step account.
- There is no time limit on any evaluation, provided a trade is closed at least once every 30 days.
- Rewards can be requested every 14 days from $100 and paid through Rise, crypto or a Blueberry Markets account.
- The scaling plan can raise the balance by 25% every three months, up to $2,000,000.
Cons
- Trading is restricted within 2 minutes either side of high impact news on evaluation and funded accounts.
- Only self built EAs approved in advance by support are allowed, and none on synthetic accounts.
- The standard 1 Step leaves a 6% overall drawdown and adds a 1.5% risk per trade idea limit once funded.
- Flex 1 Step accounts cannot hold positions over the weekend.
- Trustpilot withheld the firm's rating in September 2026, citing a breach of its guidelines.
Verdict
Blueberry Funded offers a wide menu of evaluation and instant accounts, and its rules are documented account by account in a detailed help centre. Prime 2 Step carries the fewest restrictions of its evaluations, with a 10% static drawdown, no consistency rule, no lot size cap and no limit on risk per trade, although it still restricts opening trades within 2 minutes of high impact news. The 1 Step is cheaper but leaves only a 6% overall buffer, and its funded stage adds a 1.5% risk per trade idea limit. Flex 1 Step pays 85% but combines a 1% risk cap per trade idea with a ban on weekend holding. The broker link shows up in practical ways rather than regulatory ones. Trading runs on Blueberry Markets infrastructure, and funded traders can send rewards straight to a Blueberry Markets live account, which an independent prop firm cannot offer. The prop business itself contracts through an entity in St Vincent and the Grenadines, the funded accounts are simulated, and the help centre does not name a regulator for that entity, so traders should not assume the broker's regulatory protections carry over. The scaling plan adds 25% to the balance every three months up to $2,000,000, but each step needs four payouts and a 10% gain over the quarter. Trustpilot showed 1,733 reviews in September 2026 but withheld the rating, citing a breach of its guidelines. The firm suits disciplined intraday and swing traders who can work within its news and EA restrictions.

Questions about Blueberry Funded
Is Blueberry Funded connected to Blueberry Markets?
Yes. Blueberry Funded was set up in 2024 as part of the Blueberry family of brands, which includes the broker Blueberry Markets. It describes itself as a prop firm rather than a broker and contracts traders through an entity in St Vincent and the Grenadines, while Blueberry Markets provides the brokerage infrastructure and trading platforms behind its accounts.
How much does a Blueberry Funded challenge cost?
List prices on the site in September 2026 ran from $37 for a $2,500 Prime 2 Step account to $1,462 for $200,000. The 1 Step cost $44 to $1,210, Flex 1 Step $105 to $835, Instant Lite $42.50 to $785 and Instant Elite $100 to $2,800. Discount codes were displayed on some plans, so the price paid at checkout can be lower.
What profit split does Blueberry Funded pay?
Funded traders keep 80% of profits on the 1 Step, Prime 2 Step, Instant Elite and Instant Lite accounts, and 85% on Flex 1 Step. Evaluation accounts that qualify for the scaling plan can raise the split towards 90%. Rewards are available every 14 days, or every 7 days with an add on bought at checkout, and the minimum request is usually $100.
Does Blueberry Funded allow news trading?
No. On evaluation and funded accounts, traders must not open or close trades from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after a high impact news release, and this includes pending orders triggered in that window. Prime accounts may still close and manage existing trades during the window. Profits from restricted trades can be removed at payout, and repeated breaches can lead to the account being closed.
Can I use an EA at Blueberry Funded?
Only in limited cases. EAs are banned on synthetic accounts. On other accounts an EA must be built by the trader, run the trader's own strategy and be disclosed to support, with consent received before it places a trade. Commercial, rented, shared or commissioned EAs are not allowed, and copying trades from external signal services is prohibited.
Which countries cannot use Blueberry Funded?
The help centre list dated 2 July 2026 restricts purchases from Afghanistan, American Samoa, Australia, Belarus, Cuba, Guam, Iran, Iraq, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, Syria, the United States, the US Minor Outlying Islands and Yemen. Traders elsewhere should still check the terms at checkout, as the list can change.
